In 2015, an increasing number of Asian businesses, including e-commerce portals, e-commerce retailer ShopGeek, online shopping sites and online clothing stores, have entered the industry. The growth of Asia-Pacific in 2015 has resulted in the closing of the major shopping portals such as Sephora, Flipkart and Saks Fifth Market. These portals have increased their prices by 12 percent over last year.

ShopGeek has 2 locations: both located in the East Bay (in San Francisco and in Seattle) and in North America (in Seattle, San Francisco and the Seattle area).
