If I were given the opportunity to get a free ride through life I would not accept it. Life is either a daring adventure or dull and predictable. Challenges are a part of life, and they help us grow by pushing us into areas that are uncomfortable and new. Without challenges life would be boring. We would not learn or grow. I would not like to wake up every morning without plans or responsibilities. Without goals, there would be no accomplishment. Self-esteem comes from trying your hardest. I have a proud feeling when I accomplish what I set out to do.

There is no success without failure. Without failure how could I learn from my mistakes? Some people believe that winning the lottery would be the answer to everything. Financial security is not the answer to happiness. Given, it can make day-to-day life easier but wont add to your happiness and goals unless you create something positive with the money.

Things you work for are the most important It would be fun to have numerous possessions, but they would have no sentimental value if I did not earn them or if they too easy to get.

I would rather live a common life, and work hard for my money and possessions. Taking some risks and challenges in life should be well worth the reward. I believe that life would be more satisfying.

“The best things in life are nearest: Breath in your nostrils, light in your eye, flowers at your feet, duties at your hand, the path of right just before you. Then do not grasp at the stars, but do lifes plain, common work as it comes, certain daily duties and daily bread are the sweetest things in life.” Ð-Robert Louis Stevenson
