Paris Hilton: Extended Car Wash
The commercial starts out with the silhouette of Paris Hilton walking into a garage type place with barely a swimming suit on and a fur wrap with big heals on. When she gets inside she drops the wrap around her ankles. Then it shows her picking up a really soapy sponge while standing next to a nice black car. She takes the sponge and rubs it all over her body as soap drips off of her body. Then it shows the front of the car and she starts crawl over it from the trunk. When she gets on the top of the car it zooms in on her and she squeezes the sponge out as soap falls onto the top of the car. Then she slowly makes her way to the hood and then to the ground caressing the car. She goes from side to side embracing the car and herself. Then when she makes it to the ground she is slowly crawling across the front of the car. It isnt until over 30 seconds into the commercial do you see her eating a huge hamburger. Then it zooms in on her face and she licks her finger really slowly. Then after a little more stroking of the car, she points the hose at the camera and turns it on full blast. Then there is a little more of the caressing and it goes to a black screen that says “The Spicy BBQ Sandwich” then the next screen comes up and says, “Thats Hot.” Then it flashes to the Hardees Star.
This commercial only actually shows the sandwich twice and you dont even really get to see it. It is far away. This commercial is al about the sex appeal. It barely even shows the sandwich that it is advertising. I think that it is more giving of the message that the sandwich is hot. I dont know if it is a burger or chicken or what.
I think that a lot of guys would definitely remember this commercial. I just dont think that everyone will remember what fast food place has it. It only shows the burger/sandwich for maybe three of four seconds out of almost a minute. Another thing that may make the fast food restaurant forgettable would be that they only show the Hardees star for a second too.
I think that this commercial may be a little two sexual to show during the day on TV. I wouldnt want my little kids watching this commercial really. It isnt that it is horrible. I just think that it is a little inappropriate. I dont think that there is much of a message here either. It is
