Executive Summary
The area of interest that I am researching is stress and the college student. The reason why I am researching stress is because it plays a daily part in every college student’s life. Many students’ have different perspective views on how they value their schoolwork and handle stress. I want to able to see how students function on a daily basis when they have so many things to worry about and so much work to do. The variable that I will be manipulating will be the student, and the other variable that I am measuring is stress.

The survey that I will be conducting is related to stress and what causes it. When conducting the research survey, I fully want to understand the type of emotional boundaries people explore when they have so much stress in their life. The manipulating variable, which is the student, is focused on how much stress they are dealing with and the appropriate measures they are taking to void out stress. The measuring variable, which is stress, is used to hamper students and the daily pressures that they might be under.

My study of stress is to determine how each student relates to it. With the information that I will gather in the following research, will explain exactly how stress ca

n cause so many complications and distractions. Many college students come from all different backgrounds and possess many of the same stress related problems. The leading causes of stress are finances, work, family, personal concerns, personal health and safety, personal relationships, and death.

We all face different challenges and obstacles, and sometimes the pressure is hard to handle. When we feel overwhelmed, under the gun, or unsure how to meet the demands placed on us, we experience stress. In small doses, stress can be a good thing. It can give you the push you need, motivating you to do your best and to stay focused and alert. Stress is what keeps you on your toes during a presentation at work or drives you to study for your final when you would rather be watching TV. However, when the going gets too tough and life’s demands exceed your ability to cope, stress becomes a threat to both your physical and emotional well-being.

Theory

Covering many aspects of student life, they are primarily asked to determine the extinct to which they had been under stress during the preceding academic years. Assessments of stress and its symptoms are measured towards academic achievement.

Student’s academic achievement is measured on the basis of whether they are being awarded a degree. As I read in an article about only 54.7% of students on average receive their degree with or without the management of stress. Academic stress among college students is reduced and controlled
