My storybook, “Crissys Underwater Adventure” fits with the cognitive development of a choice year old because of the advanced language that is involved in the book. Since, five year olds start to learn about the world around them to discover more. The “big kid” phase starts to set in and they begin to become more independent and start to do things on their own.
