Meal and Exercise Plan Project
My client Rob current eating habits are not good at all. His current diet includes a lot of calories, a lot of fats, very little fruits and vegetables, and a small amount of dairy products. And he also does not worry about serving sizes or portions either. He basically only eats three or four different things which include; frozen pizza, ramen noodles, spaghetti Os and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. His current calorie intake per day is well over 3,500. If he continues to eat like he is he will become even bigger than he is and will increase his chances of developing a serious health problem.

So we are going to make a big change in his diet so that he can lose weight, become in better shape for hockey, and decrease the chances of developing the health problems that come along with obesity. We are going to make sure that he only has around 2000 calories a day. To do this the first thing is to start making him eat smaller amounts of food more often during the day. For example, instead of eating 3 meals a day of 500 calories, he could eat 6 times a day only having around 300 calories each time. The small meals that he will be eating are going to contain more fruits, vegetables, and dairy products. He will also have to start eating foods with lower fat contents. We will cut out all of the junk food. The foods that he will be eating are in the food log. Along with his new diet our client will be participating in a workout program that we also set up.

Our client is severely overweight and needs to change his exercise routine. His current workout routine only consists of playing hockey 2-3 times a week. He doesnt do any other workouts besides skating. This along with his eating habits is the two main contributions to his weight problem. His current weight is 270lbs with a goal of losing 15-20lbs in 3 months. His workouts are going to have to change he will have to do a lot more than just play hockey a couple times a week.

We are going to use circuit training to help lose the desired weight. In the first week of workouts he is going to have to do beginners full body circuit in order to get his body use to working out 5 times a week. The workout is going to start off with him warming up on an elliptical machine for 15 minutes. After that we are going to start the circuit all the weight will be 60% of his
