Christopher Crosby Farley was born February 15, 1964 in Madison, Wisconsin. Chris attended Marquette University and got a degree in theatre and communications. In the late eighties Farley performed at the Second City theatre and was discovered by Lorne Michaels, the producer of Saturday Night Live. Farley started on SNL in 1990. His comedic enthusiasm made him a favorite widely known as Matt Foley the motivational speaker. He got offered a job acting in Waynes World and thats when he left SNL along with Adam Sandler to focus more on his acting career.

Farley briefly appeared in movies before landing his biggest roles in, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Beverly Hills ninja, and his last movie Almost Heroes. Farley had millions of fans across America. But he let his drug and alcohol dependencies get in the way. Friends and colleagues were concerned and knew the dangers. They knew he felt as if he could not stop. He was always involved with hookers and drugs and alcohol. On top of this Farley was a heavyset man, carrying 300 pound on his 5 8″ body. He also loved to eat. This along with the drugs and alcohol cause major health problems.

Chris Farleys death changed history forever as all deaths do. But his hits my generation hard because he was so young and had everything going for him and we grew up watching him. He is one of my idols and I still cannot

reason why he threw it all away and it serves as an awareness to all teens an everyone else too about drugs and alcohol. His death is one more proof that drugs and alcohol do not mix and they are deadly. His death also shows us thats celebrities arent invincible and throwing everything away is not the way to go.
