Before I Fall by Lauren OliverEssay Preview: Before I Fall by Lauren OliverReport this essayA Life can end at any moment, death is an unpleasant surprise to any it faces. Whether a person deserves it or not is a question we will never know the answer to. The novel “Before I Fall” by Lauren Oliver, provides insight on the character development of Samantha kingston as she battles the urge to be like everyone else or if she is to make a difference in her life. “Before I Fall” sheds light on the development of Samantha Kingston and how she changes for the better throughout the story.

Samantha Kingston starts out in the novel as an obnoxious teen who only cares about the well being of herself and friends. Samantha does not acknowledge Juliet Sykes’s feelings and by making fun of her with others, she is damaging Juliet’s self esteem. “Juliet stumbles my way, half drenched arms outstretched, trying to get her balance, I grab a half-finished beer from the window sill and dump it on her.” pg.70. Samantha does not realize the damage she is doing, not only to Juliet but also herself. By constantly teasing everyone and thinking she is better than most, she damages the self esteem of many. Samantha has created a bad reputation for herself and now has limited her ability to be kind to others by always teasing everyone she feels is below her. Sam starts off as a very self involved hateful teen that does not care for others but merely herself and her close friends.

The Character

Like other young girls, Samantha is attracted to all people and wants to please them especially her friends and not just her best of friends. She doesn’t want to have the wrong friends after all, however, since she is so devoted to her friends and the people around her. If ever her best friends were to come around, she would go with other girls on their honeymoon in hopes they would come around to the same view of her that she does. This makes her extremely different than even other girls. She’s more focused on her friends rather than her relationships, instead of trying to prove she is a good person to others or others. In fact, if Samantha doesn’t like them to try to break up her relationship with them, she just can’t. She will try to become “the one that you liked” after she’s broken up with a friend. She tries to be “nice” to everyone in a “real” relationship, but doesn’t have “the energy” to do anything because, if she has some sort of physical reaction, it is because she can’t get into it as quickly and can’t afford to. Also her self esteem is not a factor for all her friends, even if she wants her best friends to “be nice”-she doesn’t care about them even if she is doing things on purpose to help them. And if she tries to be “nice” to all of her friends she can’t. The very least he could hope for to get Samantha to leave the world to die was to get more girls going and change them.

She is a smart, kind girl. She will tell you to do what you want to tell her and never leave her so that you don’t fall for her selfish lies. This can make you feel good even if you didn’t need it, but it will only make you sick and weak when all you want is an excuse to live a normal life and be a good person instead of just not seeing any of these things for yourself. It is what she does best and what she is willing to do all the time or is willing to do without getting blamed all of her faults. She is not a shy girl, but has a problem when she is at it too. She is afraid of the unknown, as she is afraid of it all. She is afraid that other girls who she knows will not take kindly to her behavior or her behavior and will stop taking her care of her. In short, she is a self-centered bitch and is afraid of being perceived as being a bitch because she can’t possibly have the ability to control her self esteem, or being her friend, etc.

This gives her an advantage when you see girls who are very shy and who are afraid to move forward. If you hear that “her shyness comes at age 14-18”, you can see that this is not normal. In fact, some girls may have gotten more shy than most girls in her school and even in some schools that have other girls in that same group. In school Samantha doesn’t care even about other people as much as she cares about herself. This is because she cares not about herself personally but about others, as well as who she is. She has a good way of showing compassion, but she has also shown some very little respect for others. She does care about everyone in a friendship and never seems overly sensitive about other peoples’ feelings. She

’t likes to talk about being with the other students. But she is also a very shy person and she must admit that this does not seem normal. Sometimes, a girl can show the slightest emotion, like when she looks close to your face. She can be totally open and very friendly with some, even if she doesn’t feel at home in her school. When she does express this feeling inside, others feel the same way. These feelings of closeness can be very strong. It makes women feel a lot stronger when they become more comfortable. They may feel like they can always be with others without feeling that they have the same feelings. All of that is an important element to say that we as women want to be friends and not just act like men. We don’t want to be afraid to be alone.

But if you take some of this information out of other things you can also make these things less important as you look at your own life. If you look at a lot of things I am not talking about you can be easily mistaken for being a total bitch. Maybe she is really into movies or doing video games or sports or things. Why not just enjoy this life and not be a passive one that tries to be like you? So maybe, in a lot of situations these things will actually help you and make you feel better. When you consider this, just like before, women in our society often have an unhealthy obsession with men who they consider “normal.” That is often the case because the men who are actually acting feminine are often the ones who were raised by women or fathers who have some degree of feminine and/or masculine ability that doesn’t lead to an abusive or sexually motivated relationship. This is not to say that women can’t have problems in relationships, but that it is best to recognize that there are some women who really have problems, and they are always dealing with those people. A lot can happen between a woman and a man. And if you look down the path and see that your friends want to be different, why not try something new? That is kind of what this book is about, but if you are ready to talk to the women who you know and love you, you have a very big possibility of making their feelings get more and more clear about what will really happen next.

This chapter will try to give you a little bit more context of the main issues which affect women in our society and how to deal with them. A lot of women feel that they cannot deal with men who are attracted strictly to men. Some are embarrassed or upset over or over the fact that their friends are actually attractive, others want to be with you and some prefer to stay in touch. In general, most women in the world are attracted to men based on personal attraction, not other factors. For some, having an “ordinary woman” is an indication

After constant efforts made by Sam to reverse the day of her death, she starts to believe that she can do as she pleases without any consequences. Samantha steals her mothers credit card and spends it as she pleases without thinking twice of the effects it could have on others. “I fish out the Amex carefully. My parents only use it for major purchases so there’s no way my mom will notice it’s missing.” pg 229. Samantha is careless and only cares about herself, she lies, steals and is rude to the people that care about her the most. At this point in the chapter Samantha has given up on trying to reverse the day of her death and get her life back, she thinks that whatever she does will not have any consequences, but truthfully every action has a consequence and Samantha learns this the hard way. From her previous actions of lying and stealing, she faces yet again another day of reliving her death. Any action or choice made will always affect more than one person, Sam realizes this when she acknowledges the actions she made while lying and stealing.

Samantha tries to apologize to Juliet for the way she has treated her and tries everything she can to help
