Gap CaseTo brief this article it explains the GAP, one of the largest retailers out there, last month decided to restructure/ redesign some of it management as well as online divisions. This was to help develop new more broad and somewhat innovative positions for their top level management team throughout their three brands. Also they plan on creating a whole new digital strategy team to get more involved with their online presence and distribution. What they’re planning on doing is taking all the North American, international, online, outlet and franchise divisions and basically having them lead by a single global executive for each of its brands. In addition they are working more on their new innovation, digital strategy and new brands division.

The goal of GAP CIO is to help the rest of the company grow, which is what our GAP team has succeeded in doing with its product offerings. Their new, brand new GAP Strategy team is currently working on new initiatives and working with more senior leaders, including the brand’s president and CEO, Andrew Glynn.

GAP CIO has been working hard to deliver the product roadmap to consumers through the GAP brand new strategy, with an emphasis on both new and traditional brands that are a part of its future strategy. For the current GAP brand team that will be making its debut at the end of the year, the following are the current GAP strategies:

Gap Pro 6

The GAP Pro 6 program – GAP Pro 6 is a new mobile app to provide new-to-mobile access to product and services by offering direct access to certain GAP services – not only in mobile, but also in the form of video, email and all of those new GAP services which are available for a limited time. GAP Pro 6 is aimed at a broad range of consumers in their digital products through new GAP services. The original GAP Pro 5, GAP Pro 6 are free, but with GAP subscriptions, the GAP family offers enhanced access to content with new GAP services. In addition to GAP Pro 5 it is aimed at consumers to give them access to GAP apps, such as free movies and TV shows and a subscription to GAP-only apps. GAP Mobile is now also available for Apple mobile devices as well while GAP Playstore is available to the iOS and Android platforms with GAP content. The GAP family has been available to GAP devices around the world up to March of 2017, so for GAP customers it offers a whole new way to connect GAP products, while also giving them additional user services, like a full suite of apps, support and more.

The GAP Pro 8 program – GAP Pro 8 is an enhanced GAP platform that extends the number of GAP devices in their homes and is meant to provide a new level of GAP experience for customers. GAP Pro 8 comes bundled with the GAP Pro app, with a premium price that also includes subscription to GAP for subscribers and other GAP services. GAP Mobile is also now available for iPhone as well as iPad with GAP services. In addition, the GAP mobile operating system is supported by the GAP family while enabling GAP services only to iOS and Android platforms.
