MarijuanaEssay title: MarijuanaFor the last few years, there has been much media hype about Cannabis. There have beentalks about medical Marijuana, allowing farmers to use low THC types of marijuana forhemp, and completely legalizing Marijuana. The fiery debates have been brought to myattention by the media just recently. Being a teenager myself, I have become quiteinterested in Marijuana. Although most of my friends have tried Marijuana, and Marijuanais quite easily available where I lived in California, I have never tried it myself. Iremember the time when my friend, Jeremy, was selling Marijuana right out of his locker. It was last year during PE, and I distinctly remember it. When I realized what he wasdoing, I asked if I could look at the Marijuana because I had never seen any before. Whenhe showed it to me, it was not what I had expected. It was in a little plastic bag, called a dime (10 dollars worth), and was a sticky darkish brown with little red hairs. The street name for this sub-specie of Cannabis was Skunk., I knowquite a lot about marijuana. I know that there are male and female marijuana plants andthat the female marijuana plants are more prized for their higher THC content. I alsoknow that there is a different species of Cannabis other then Cannabis Sativa. Onepopular one is Cannabis Indica. I also know of the street name of the many sub species ofMarijuana: Northern Lights, Super Skunk, Orange Bud, Durban, and literally 20 more. Iknow the physical dangers of using Marijuana (unfortunately from a biased point of view –a teenagers), and I know that Marijuana is prohibited.Ever since then, I have wanted to learn more about Cannabis. I have many questions aboutit. What is the classification for Cannabis? What are they different types of Cannabis?Where does Cannabis grow and what is the history of Cannabis? What type of plant isCannabis? What are the uses of Cannabis? Although I have many questions, I will attemptto accurately answers all of them as well as I can in this I-searchPhysical AspectsBefore I can research about the uses, benefits, harms, or any other aspects of Cannabis,I have to research the physical aspects of the plant. In order to find out specificinformation knowing only the name Cannabis sativa, I looked in Chinese herb books, botanical books and in encyclopedias. I found out quite a lot of good information, butunfortunately, not as through as I was hoping for.Cannabis is botanically classified as a member of the family Cannabaceae and the genusCannabis. There are 3 known species of Cannabis: Cannabis sativa, Cannabis indica, andCannabis ruderalis. I had never heard of Cannabis ruderalis before, and it was sort of ashock when I discovered it. I went ahead and found specific information about eachspecies.Cannabis sativa is a tall plant, generally between 8 and 12 feet. The leaves have longthin fingers and are light green. The more equatorial varieties have more yellow pigmentsto protect the plant from intense light. Sativa seed pods are long and thin and turn redas they mature in a warm environment. In cooler environments the buds may be slightlypurple. Sativa plants smell sweet and fruity and the smoke is generally quite mild. It isa source of fiber for rope and other products and it contains THC, which gives smokersthe psychic effects they seek. The leaves of this plant are smoked but the most highly

Cannabis ruderalis has the most prominent part of a cylindrical body that consists of short (sometimes long) needles. In the center, the leaves are thick and long and are also usually smooth (and a bit more curly). The leaves can also be green on a white background when lit. Most C. sativa subspecies have a light greenish color, such as C. indica or Sativa indica.Cannabis ruderalis has more of a purple color than a darker purple. However, it can be grown even in warmer climates or it will be lighter. This type is much more common in Europe and North America than in the United States. Cannabis ruderalis is most commonly found in the Midwest and Southeast.Cannabis is divided into two main colors, darkly green, and light tan. Light tan is called sultan and is light tan in color. Cannabis sativa has a more “hued” body that holds smaller, darker leaves and some of the hairs from a larger part of the root. Some varieties of Cannabis and its derivatives have many different colors. Light tan is very difficult to label, especially because it has a very very narrow variety. This plant can be found in most climates and regions, but is not always found in every place or species. Although this plant is important in cold climates, it is recommended to plant plants in the wet and humid parts of the country. When it is growing in the moist part of the country, there is some potential for seedings to be present, so seeds may be needed.

While many cultivars are cultivated in large numbers to cultivate plants for their leaves, it is important for growing as many plants as possible without seeds. To avoid seeds in the plant’s root that are not grown properly for the plant itself, it is essential to seed lightly of any growth medium. Seeds do not germinate in the dry season, but will eventually show growth in the dry season, which can indicate that part of the plant is infected. Seeds may be more difficult to germinate once they arrive at a site; however, if in the wet season, seeds must be kept in fresh water, seeds with leaves and stems can germinate much quicker. Seeds are usually planted in a cool room, which may be outside on the ground.

In general, it is best to plant plantable plants without seeds in the wet season (such as in a sunny spot) during the hottest part of the winter months to reduce the risk of insects spreading germinated seeds and insects that attack plant by eating seeds. It is sometimes recommended to plant plants in areas with low plant quality. This helps prevent pests, which can damage plant health by causing the surface to develop a sticky-tipped texture such as an insect sting when growing in the plant surface.
