Mrs.White stayed kneeling in agony on the floor as she realized that her son would never return. Mr.White held her as they watched the door as the night went on finally knowing that no one would return knocking and they were utterly and completely safe.

Weeks went on and Mrs.White grew weary and depressed. She missed her son terribly but Mr.White reassured her multiple times that it was for the better that she try to remember the great things of Herbert and live on in his name. As time passed by Mrs.White hearing her husbands words in the back of her head, began to look for hobbies to fill her time so she can not mourn or weep any longer.

Mrs.White went from trying to sew to trying to bring a book club together. It did not take long for her to realize that her fingers were quite thick and could not make the correct motions to sew. Upon making a book club, Mrs.White noticed that she hates how petty older woman can be and she lacks the patience to be a social person.

One bright and starry night, while lying in bed with her husband, Mrs.White turned to him and said, “Honey I have no talents or patience, I want something to do but I am a talentless wench.” Mr.White laughed “Oh darling youre the best chef and wife a man like me could ever a for.”

Mrs.White kissed Mr.White on the forehead and ran downstairs yelling “Thank you darling” behind her. She instantly took out eggs, flour, milk, and butter. Mrs.White slaved all night, then as the sun sparkled in it came upon a delicate blue flowered dessert. Mr.White came downstairs asking “Honey, whats this?” Mrs.White came out with the largest grin and said “You said I was an amazing chef, I decided that no matter what may happen I will always whip up a dessert and put my emotion into frosting.”

Now anyone who may know the Whites can go into their home and see cakes upon cakes in their kitchen, whether they be tall and thin or short and thick with bright frosting or dark frosting, and choose to buy one, but not to eat because they are rather a masterpiece than a food.
