Book Review for Eat That Frog!
There are several books out there today and many of them are titled similar and are to cover most of the same information. However that is not the case in the book, Eat That Frog! 21 Great Ways To Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done In Less Time. Authored by, Brian Tracy. Tracy list 21 interesting, challenging and successful ways to help stop procrastinating. His techniques are not only informative but very catchy. At first lets take a look into who Brian Tracy is.

Brian Tracy was born in January on the fifth day of 1944, in Vancouver, Canada. Brian Tracy is known for being a very successful self-help author and a dedicated motivational speaker. Brian Tracy International is a successful human resource company that Brian Tracy himself is Chairman. The companys main location is based in California and has affiliates all over the United Sates and thirty-one other countries as well. (Mindperk, 2012).

Brian Tracy became very successful at an early age. However, this doesnt mean he didnt struggle at first, like many people. Tracy dropped out of high school before he could graduate. He traveled around the world for about eight years as a tramp steamer, until he couldnt any longer find a job. Then he turned to sales. Like many other people he struggled at the beginning and in turn reached out to another salesman for advice and successful techniques. Within the year he became the “top salesman”. At the early age of twenty-five, Brian Tracy was promoted to Vice President and supervised 95 employees. (Mindperk, 2012).

In the book by Brian Tracy, Eat That Frog! 21 Great Ways To Stop Procrastinating and Get More Done In Less Time. Brian Tracy lists twenty-one ways to stop procrastinating. Tracy lists and explains these steps in a fun, educational and successful way. Some people believe it to be common sense. But, how often does everyone honestly think of these steps, or even put them into effect? Lets examine the twenty-one steps to stop procrastinating by Brian Tracy and see how he makes this book different from all the rest.

The twenty-one successful steps listed in Brian Tracy book are: Set the table, Plan every day in advance, Apply the 80/20 Rule to everything, Consider the consequences, Practice the ABCDE Method continually, Focus on key result areas, The Law of Forced Efficiency, Prepare thoroughly before you begin, Do your homework, Leverage your special talents, Identify your key constraints, Take it one oil barrel at a time, Put the pressure on yourself, Maximize your personal powers, Motivate yourself into action, practice creative procrastination, Do the most difficult task first, Slice and dice, Create large chucks at a time, Develop a sense of urgency, Single handle every task. Now lets take a closer look at each step. 1. Set the table: Know what you want to accomplish. Write out your goals and objectives before you begin. 2. Plan every day in advance: Write everything on papers. The few minutes you spend can save huge amounts of time the following day. 3. Apply the 80/20 Rule to everything: Twenty percent of your activities will account for eighty percent of your results. 4. Consider the consequences: Your most important tasks and priorities are those that can have the most serious consequences, positive or negative, on your life or work. These are important focus on these first. 5. Practice the ABCDE Method continually: Before you begin work on a list of tasks, take a few moments to organize them
