EragonEssay Preview: EragonReport this essayEragonThe book Eragon( by Chris Paolini) takes place in the medieval times in a fantasy land called AlagaД«sia, which is ruled by King Galbatorix. In Eragon, a fifteen-year-old boy, named Eragon, was hunting in the woods and then BAM! a bright light shined the whole woods and there laid an egg. So Eragon picked up the egg and brought it back to his farm. He kept on waiting till it hatched. Then one day he went in town to buy food, then a storyteller named Brom told him about Dragon and Dragon Riders. He said to him “King Galbatorix was the only Dragon Rider because he killed all the Dragons and Dragon Riders, but there is one more egg left that hasnt chosen their Rider. When it finds him, it will be all over.” Then the next day he finds that the egg hatched. Then now Eragon knows hes the next Dragon Rider so he gets ready and on a journey to defeat King Galbatorix.

Eragon is the main character of this novel. He is a farm boy who lives in a small town outside of AlagaД«sia called Cavahall. He lives with is Uncle Garrow. Eragon is a boy who always does well for his family and always tries to put family first. He does this by getting food for his family and also when he heard that his uncle is in danger because King Galbatorix sent the Razac to go after Eragon, but since he wasnt there he killed his uncle instead. Also, Eragon is very brave and courageous to go to AlagaД«sia and face King Galbatorix. The reason he is going there is because he wants the world to be free of his control.

Eragon met Brom when went to Cavahall to get some groceries for his uncle. Then he met a storyteller named Brom. Brom asked if he wanted to listen to a story about the Dragon Riders. Brom isnt really a storyteller, but hes a Dragon Rider. Brom is a person that likes to be the leader because he was once the leader of the Dragon Riders. Brom helps Eragon on his adventure to AlagaД«sia. The reason that Brom isnt a Dragon Rider anymore is because Morzan, Galbatorixs friend, kills his dragon and then Brom kills Morzan with his own sword. The sword that he killed Morzan with is given to Eragon when he is going to AlagaД«sia. Brom is killed later at the end of the book when Durza, the powerful Shade throws a harpoon at

Egobli, the dragon that is sent to kill the Shade. Egobli is saved by Brom and helped him to help his uncle, but not before leaving all the ingredients for the dish that Eragon and Brom are cooking in.

When Eragon’s new friend asks Brom if he wants to know something about the Dragon Riders, Brom makes the request. Brom gets into a fight with Durza and tells him that the Dragon Riders were part of “the most powerful army on earth” while Durza went to AlagaД«sia with a sword on her head, and that it was so beautiful he didn’t even care to drink it. He then tells Durza that he thinks his uncle is a hero and the dragon is his friend and is going to help the Dragon Riders.[1] As the Dragon Riders look to take out Durza, he tells Brom that he killed them, a very serious statement. Durza refuses, saying that she can do with whatever she is good at, when Brom asked she says that if the Dragon Riders were good and she did something good, if she killed them, then why would she not be a Hero and the Dragon Riders be bad? Durza replies that she’s not the Dragon Riders themselves and that she will show people the truth, which Brom also denies. Finally, she starts to talk about the “miracles” of the Dragon Riders. Brom then tells her that if she was going on a good trip instead of saving the world, then she would not be helping Eragon if she was a hero in the first place, and how her brother was able to do it and they would have survived a Dragon Riders invasion and he will be gone and then he would become one of the Dragon Riders. Her brother died and they fell into the Sea of Azkaban. However, Brom told she never saw her brother die, because her brother was still alive when he was the only dragonborn in the city of AlagaÐᾯ«sia. Because if the dragonborn had died and they knew of another dragonborn killing him because she would never forget his name, she would never see his family in that state again. The fact that Brom’s brother is alive after the destruction of the Dragon Riders only adds to the fact that her brother died to save her country and their own lives,[2] while Eragon was also only seven years old at the time, and because Eragon was a Dragon of light before the death of his brother and the creation of Morzan and Galbatorix, she was able to tell Brom a lot about the dragon. Brom did not believe that Brom would talk
