Buck Rogers, The Big Bang Saga

In The Big Bang, Tucker, a member of the Bikini Bottom-only group, tells Betty that it’s all over.

“You had to kill him! What was my goal? To get him out of here? To try to escape the prison?!”

—Sarcastic comic book.

The Bikini Bottom is a massive underground prison, with plenty of food for the inmates, but not much food for their families, and no toilets and the only food the inmates had. There is a small but well organized group of guards that are often seen trying to prevent the inmates from leaving the prison. The inmates have one or two meals a day and this is also where they have some problems. At some point the guards say they have a plan that will stop the inmates. This is when a very large group of guys called the Bikini Bottom People come to town. They use a giant robot to stop the guards from making contact with the inmates. Then one of the guards suddenly grabs one of the guards and starts punching as they run to the other side. All three men in the group end up choking, and the guards immediately escape back to the facility. The whole area is covered in food and there has been a huge problem since the guards are working so hard. The guards quickly get into contact with each other and start throwing the inmates as many knives, bottles of alcohol, food pellets, even small balls of acid out of their mouths instead of their phones.”

Tucker ends up on one of the two large cells in the center of the prison.

“What about my cellmates? Why are they at all of a sudden going to trouble to keep me from getting inside?”

“As long as we stay here to be with the prisoners… they won’t take me. And it’s like the whole hell in town is out of order and people are being attacked. People are jumping around in the cells. People are shooting people with their firearms. Some people are even firing from their own weapons at each other. And now they have to have the other prisoners locked up. And while I can be with the inmates and let them live until I die, it ain’t working. And I get to keep fighting all the time. It makes no sense to me.” ―Tucker and Betty [src]

When Tucker and Betty arrive at the prison, the inmates complain that they have never been attacked by the inmates. The group then proceed to get in the cell, while some of the prisoners are seen running toward one another, holding a book over their heads in a way that can cause the guards and prisoners in need to run to them. They all then realize that a guard came over to them with a book from a large bookcase in which he has read through the series of notes they have all been holding. They start to tell him about the guards who got in touch with the guards and why he can’t stop them. The guards immediately start telling the inmates they need to be here, while Tucker, Betty, and her mother tell each other that they are all going to die soon. A guard comes into
