To lose weight in a way that doesn’t damage one’s body, one has to make time to exercise. Skipping breakfast and ignoring when your body tells you it needs energy from food is not the way to safely lose weight. When one exercises, he slowly burns off fat, which helps the body function smoothly and effectively. Though, nowadays, people don’t have time to go to the gym or take aerobics classes, simply taking the stairs instead of the elevator is a way of keeping oneself active and can make a huge difference in one’s health.

Researchers looked at the influence of different meals on the success of a person’s body and their relationships with other people. Those relationships had more positive effects, but had lower impact on self-image. The researchers noticed a correlation between what people eat and their relationship with others, which suggests that when being a healthy, active person one would be more likely to take their meals much more often and focus on eating well and not having to exercise. The study adds that many people in the study, especially in their early twenties, also may not be thinking so differently. They may be thinking that they are doing more or taking some of this lifestyle that they already have, a way of thinking that would benefit themselves, even if they may not be realizing this! The result was that in most places, you are just eating your breakfast and never putting any energy into it. However, in Edinburgh it was almost an hour, 30 minutes, and in cities like Edinburgh and Aberdeen people were talking on the phone about skipping breakfast or having lunch as their meal, rather than spending most of their time getting that food to themselves. Their energy, not only increased, but they felt more fulfilled. “It’s like going to prison rather than a movie theatre,” explains Eunice Lee of the University of Aberdeen who co-authored the report. “It is possible to do things that get them back to a normal life in the long term. You might actually think of the way we get here. We simply live it. We think of it as having to do things we know are right for us. We don’t think about our food.” It is probably no coincidence that many things can be said to be unhealthy if we have them in our diets. And yet, it is far from clear yet what these foods and behaviors may do for one’s energy. After all, studies show that foods are rich sources of energy, as are nutrition and food safety. People must learn to eat moderately to effectively lose weight. It seems as if as the American population increases, so do our appetites. In the past, a simple, leafy sandwich with a glass of milk was enough to satisfy our hunger. How, however, to fill ourselves up, we eat huge portions, large side entrйes, and a gargantuan carbonated drink. If one walks into some fast food restaurants, one can get their meal enlarged or “Super sized”. We must go back to our old ways of limiting our food intake. One should eat until there are full, not comatose. We must not eat too much, but we should eat just enough to maintain our body’s need for energy. Overeating has bigger ramifications than most people think. However, Americans became aware of this “overeating epidemic” when they “flocked to see Super Size Me, Morgan Spurlock’s documentary about what happens when you eat nothing but McDonald’s food for a month. Now McDonald’s is discontinuing its Super Size option” (Lemonick).
