Camouflaging Inadequate Communication
The giving and exchanging of information occurs daily among humanity and is an all-important part of the process of communicating more times than not misunderstood. However, oftentimes many couples believe and are unaware that they possess difficulties communicating with others. Learning to convey and receive information will strengthen relationships on every level. In fact, a new research implies that marriage couples communications with each other fairs no better than strangers do as cited in the article (Close relationships sometimes mask poor communication, 2011). According to Sole (2011), individuals arrive in this world communicating and the initial vociferation or utterance as newborns expresses to the world of our birth.

A few years ago my wife, and I engaged in a very emotional argument regarding her desire to relocate to another church we previous attended. We were both members of one of the big-mega churches here in Atlanta Georgia. We have worship in three different churches since 1981 and neither one of us would have it any other way. Our second place of worship with the big-mega church was an experience we would never forget, and we both loved the church so much; thus the weekends did not come fast enough. However, in consequence of my music profession, I decided to work at another church establishment without consulting with her first and what a big mistake on my part to assume that she would follow me anywhere without an argument.

Nevertheless, four days after that very emotional discussion, early on a Saturday morning we resided at our present church for a full day of family activities. Later in that evening my we were on our way to dinner at a restaurant called Ruths Chris Steak House, one of the finest steak houses in Atlanta. On the way to this eating establishment we passed by a church in our community that was previously a movie theater. Upon observing this church grow and prosper, I had always hypothesize that if a church had financial difficulties and had to rebuild or relocate, a facility such as an already build movie theater would be excellent for praise and worship service. As we pass by this church, I remark to my wife if one had to move to another place of worship, a vacant movie theater would be the perfect place.

For a minute or two she became very silent and shortly afterward, she replied “I believe I will become a member of that church,” and asked if I could take her home for the reason that she had lost her appetite. To my amaze I did not understand how she could have made that comment on the hills of a blessed day like this one. My blood began to boil, and I was just about to give her a piece of my mind when suddenly I remained calm and began to think on why she would even mention that. After giving her statement critical thought, at this point I realized that she believed my statement
