Chapter 5 – My Personal Reflection
Writing these five chapter chapters made me realize my writing abilities arent as bad as I thought they were. It also made me realize what events and things have happened in my life that made me the strong girl I am today.
The chapter that stood out the most for me was “Family”. I absolutely love writing about them. I will never run out of words and I can tell so many stories about them and what weve been through together. My family has been there for me through thick and thin and I would do anything for them. I will never get bored of them and Im a very lucky girl to be a part of the wonderful family I have today.
The most difficult chapter to write about was the “Difficulties in My Life” chapter. I may not have included this but my grandfather died not too long ago to cancer and it was a very hard time for my family and I. I felt close to him. He could be the jolliest person in the room and he had the most sarcastic personality. He could make anyone smile if he just looked at you. It was a hard loss for me but it made me strong and I know hes in a better place now.
I personally wouldnt mind writing a little more because it helps me find things out about myself that I dont really think about. I mean its a lot to write and not a lot of time to write it in, but it benefited me. It also brings out my writing abilities, even though they may not be the best.
I did learn something from writing these five chapters. I definitely learned more on how to write and use a computer because, I knew nothing about how to do and use those things. I mean I knew how to write of course, but not as well as I do now. Im not good with computers at all and they never seem to cooperate for me so I guess I learned how to use one better. I also learned about myself while writing these chapters. I never really thought about the things I wrote about until I thought hard enough to dig them out. Itll help me find out more stories and things about myself I never knew.
What grade would I give myself? Id probably give myself an 85 on all of it together. Ill admit it, I am a huge procrastinator and I dont put the best I could in all of these essays but they turn out decent. I personally loved writing these essays and it wasnt a bad project to do. (497)
