IntroductionI’ve been working for the Bank of Japan for 5 years. My responsibility is to research trends of banknotes to decide how many amounts of banknotes we should produce.I’m also responsible to present economic analysis at the meeting.Other members, including director-general, have appreciated my presentation and analysis and I would like to develop this quality farther with global perspective.Why MBAI want to study at an MBA program to have better communication ability with corporate managers.It is very beneficial to analyze the real economic situation of the country and develop our timely policy.Indeed, I always visited local enterprises and discussed with those presidents about their profitability and business.Then, I re-examined the gap between their words and our data or statistics.I could find various factors, which we had to pay much attention to decide our policy.For instance, I urged to continue our abundant money supply even when data showed the sound economic growth in Tokai region because some of the good indicator was induced by temporal increase of foreign visitors.Without my hands-on experience with corporate managers, I could not realize such contribution to the BOJ.For better business communication skill, I want to study overall business issues.The other reason to study at an MBA program is to develop my international perspective to contribute to the cooperative work among central banks.Now, we are energetic to participate to development of global financial rule such as BIS.BIS is for stabilizing the banks’ management and financial market.For instance, BIS regulates the capital adequacy ratio.If it’s higher, banks have higher capital to manage critical financial situation and stabilize the market.But if it’s too high and too ridged, banks lose some flexibility to invest their money.I want to become a leader, who can present Japanese banks’ given situation and request BIS committee to make even better regulation to vitalize our economy.To describe the financial market situation and bank’s business activates in the market, I need to gain more knowledge about global financial market and business strategy of different banks.
In addition, my English business communication ability should be more strengthened.For these reasons, I want to study at an MBA program for a year.Why IBEARI met four alumni and a current participant of IBEAR to find out my suitability to study there.All of them were very friendly and supportive. So, I was impressed by many good points of IBEAR.The most attractive one is multinational environment and group study for business consulting. I am assuming the same situation in the near future. I will attend international conference.In my mid-career, I must take an initiative to represent Japan’s Central Bank’s view.Your multinational environment and the experience to show my idea to others in such situation are the best preparation.I can obtain extra skill to convince others to pay attention to my words.In addition, business-consulting experience seems very practical to find the problems and to develop the best solutionFinally, I would love good weather and hard working in LA.It will enable me to make good friends and active experience in my life.Why Now (Career goal)Because I feel some sense of urgency. Although I have already obtained basic skills in finance and economics, I feel strong necessity to improve academic foundation in the area of international finance in order to play a leadership role as a central banker promoting monetary cooperation. In global finance, I also want to assist the development of emerging countries economy as my long-term goal. To achieve the goal, I also need to acquire expertise in finance, extensive network with professionals, and powerful leadership as well as negotiation skills. And I’m sure IBEAR will help me to become a great leader of the BOJ.My QuestionI really want to know when I will get admission result for my application.It is because my first choice program is IBEAR.If I have the clear date for the admission decision; I can arrange many things in my private life.After your admittance, I don’t have to work for the admission of other programs and then I can arrange some refreshment and celebration event to congratulate my study in L.AWhen do you take leadership role and how do you deal with difficulties?I believe I have taken leadership role for several times.
