Managing Multicultural TeamsManaging multicultural teams often tests the capability of a manager as he can make or break a situation. There are often cases when a manager creates more problems by intervening. Cultural differences are so subtle that it is difficult to track them until the damage has been done. The best way to avoid cultural differences is to adapt multicultural-based approach. There are several challenges, which a multicultural team experiences. Communication is one of the most important factors in connecting diverse teams. A team should understand the diverse background among its team members and use communication effectively. Secondly, the accent and fluency at times make things difficult to deal with. Also, the attitude towards the authority in different nationalities is diverse and one needs to take a holistic approach when answering to their seniors/mentors from diverse backgrounds. Lastly, the conflicts in the decision making also misbalances the harmony of the entire team

MULTI-HEROICS [ edit ]

Diversity and mutual support are the most effective way to improve team teamwork. In order to improve teamwork, managers are the best bet to make diversity and jointness the main elements (or even an entire group) of team. For these reasons, diversity, mutual support and tolerance are often the best options for helping to achieve successful results through team culture improvement. Mutual support and support are also usually used to deal with problems of both team and local authorities (if, for lack of a better word, the issue is local). While working with a local authority may help, it’s a better option to deal with the local police, security and social services.

As with a traditional team-building model, teams work by implementing some specific rules. These rules are usually based on the concept of “culture”. “If we don’t want to change the way we live, what are we to do?” “The people’s jobs are to support a group”, or “We are getting to know people, they will be better for it”.

Each of these rules states how the team should organize itself in the way it will work within the community. The more or less specific rules require that a team is required to collaborate, to be creative and innovative or to work effectively with people that they want to learn from and from friends/mates and to relate to them, but also include a lot of guidelines. It might look simple but it has its own meanings. In practice, this means that any rule requires an external support system that would allow them to contribute positively to the project while also promoting a very healthy social life within the team.

In a few cases, it will be better to allow people from different backgrounds to contribute to the team by following the same rules. Usually, this will be used by local police and the local authorities. If police or fire and police and fire departments do their part to help, this can be used to create culture-oriented teams. In most cases the local police or fire departments have local managers and are involved in managing the local culture. The local police or fire departments are usually under the state of emergency or a police state or police power.

A local municipality or state government usually has a “good and constructive relationship” with their respective local authorities. This ensures that there is an environment in which no tensions build and the support of local communities can be built up from within. In times of social crisis, social relationships must be shared equally between the local authorities. Social cohesion is strong in local authorities too.

The most important thing is to work with your local team leaders and to follow the same rules that apply to working in any other team culture. If all the people in the community are working independently of each other, it’s possible that they will not participate in a shared culture and that it may take a bit of time to reach the conclusion that it’s necessary to make the necessary transition.

On the other hand, if there are no cultural differences between the communities, the social dynamics between the local authorities will cause no problems. Also, if the culture is unique and a different part of it is affected, then it will take too long to adjust.

What Are Types of Local Authorities? [ edit ]

There are some important types of local authorities:

Local authorities are in charge of all aspects of activities, such as working with their community.

A local authority usually has a working knowledge base and is involved with local issues.

Local authorities have a clear understanding of their local culture.

They have more than one work place (see main topic for details).

They understand how people like you or your work are connected in life.

They work closely with local authorities to manage their own cultural group as they have done so many times.

Local authorities also have a work relationship with the local authorities.

A local authority operates in a working relationship with the local authorities. This is important in order to have more stable working relationships with local authorities as the

I believe that the four strategies discussed in the case in order to overcome the multicultural issues help resolve the desired circumstances to some extent. Although I do not dislike any of the strategy, I like one strategy more than the others i.e. Adaptation. In any such situation, an individual needs to understand his weaknesses and strengths and work on his weaknesses in order to become a better decision maker and more importantly a better human being. He needs to acknowledge his shortcomings i.e. the cultural gap and work towards it. This will help the person to grow positively in a diverse environment.
