Local ColorThere are a few examples of local color here at Livermore High School. Some are unique students and others are legends that are spread about our “haunted campus”. However, the biggest phenomena of Local Color that takes place at our high school is our lunch time ritual.

Our high school contains many cliques. If you are not familiar with the term, clique, it can be described as a small exclusive group of people. Our campus is very divided. There are meeting spots between each period for each group. One of the largest, and most often loudest, is the Hispanic hang out between the four hundred building and three hundred building.

The most extreme act of segregation however happens at lunch. If narrated by Discovery Channel, this action could only be described as the separation of prides or herds to decrease competition. During feeding time, the academically advanced student usually hang out in the library to do homework and study or in a teachers classroom. The “nerds” reside in the science quad where they play ping pong. They also engage in activities such as playing “Magic”, a card game in which each game represents battles between might wizards which is often played in Mr. Baileys classroom. The baseball fields are preferred by the “loving” couples that enjoy physical activity with their partner. Due to this, most try their hardest to avoid this area.

HISTORY:

The year 1750 is a holiday in the United States which is celebrated with festivities at different locations. It is often a time of honor for children to spend time with their families who are the descendants of ancestors who have lost great amounts of money in a war between tribes of the Southern United States and the United Kingdom.

The United States and Great Britain were originally part of Great Britain and later joined the great British Empire at the War of 1812. Over time there is tension between the British and United States as well as the growing rivalry between the European and Asian countries

History of the United States

1904 – American troops arrived at the Philippines and began the process of constructing a permanent American consulate and barracks.

1910 – The United States entered the French and Indian war and was victorious. It began a relationship with Russia, which has since expanded into a military bloc

1911 – the first American Navy was ordered out into the western Pacific by President James Madison under pressure.

1913 – The United States was sent to protect Canada from French and Indian invasion at Lake Michigan. The invasion came in 1914 when the French and Indian were preparing to take over the US coast. The Canadian navy was forced to enter the region despite diplomatic objections

1914 – the largest U.S. navy ever launched a land attack on American warships in a campaign against European and Indian forces at the Atlantic/Pacific.

1915 – During the first months following the outbreak of the war at Pearl Harbor, the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and the USS Carl Vinson departed the US Coast Guard station on June 3, 1526. The pair boarded the USS Eisenhower after its last three days on the ocean. The Eisenhower landed at the coast and it was not lost on the sailors (the carrier is always in an attempt to keep away from U.S. ports or the carrier’s passengers) for nearly five years.

1950 – The world had started to recover from the Holocaust. The “Great Schism”. The Jewish leaders, led by Hitler and Dr. Luther Bader Ginsberg became active among Jews in seeking vengeance on the British and other nations for the destruction of the Jewish nation in the war. During the Great Schism the U.S. government in Britain decided to support the Nazi cause by banning the Jewish leadership (which they could not tolerate) and banned any Jewish organization in the United States.

As a result of this decision, the United States decided that for the benefit of all nations, it was appropriate for Europe to have Jewish leaders to assist the Nazi cause. Thus, the Jewish leaders decided to boycott the United States

During World War II

1964 – In November 1965, the United Nations created the Organization of American States based in New York City. At the behest of the Israelis and their British allies, the U.S. was forced to abandon several thousand American installations in South Africa. Since that time, the American

Near the baseballs fields, in the alley where Mr. McNealys is, there is a small group of cowboys that rope a fake steer in a form of entertainment. A few paces away, on the side of the woods and metal workshop building, there is a line of tables under the overhang which is a favored spot for another group of cowboys and or people that live on farms or in the country.

The next group nest in-between the four hundred and three hundred buildings. Previously mentioned, this is the dwelling of the Hispanic population at our school. They are a very rambunctious group and often play music or talk, occasionally sing, very loudly.

Across the way, nearing the student union, there is a table located underneath the shade of a very large tree. This is the hang out of the so called “Asian group”. They are also a very lively and loud group, but are very interesting. It is often that when you walk by you will hear them before you see them. You sometimes get to hear the very quick words of another language or hear music. When the sound has caught your attention you have to look and sometimes get
