My Favorite Season
My favorite season is summer because of the warm weather, the break from school, and the everlasting fun. Summer begins around the 20th of June and ends in late September. Summer is the greatest and most sensational season of the year.
Bakersfields heat gets somewhat unbearable, but Id rather it be blistering hot rather than rainy and ice cold any time of the year. The normal summer temperatures range from 95 degrees Fahrenheit to 105 degrees Fahrenheit. This weather is great for athletes in water sports. Its also ample for sun bathing. Toasty summer days last an hour longer than the days in fall. The abundance of time gives everyone more time for fun summer activities such as swimming or having an amazing evening with your friends. Most importantly the extra time allows for extra hours for sleeping in, which any teenager would greatly appreciate. The blazing heat and extraneous time is just some of the key factors that contribute to an extraordinary summer.
Three long amazing months away from school is tremendous for teens who dread school. There are no teachers constantly breathing down your back. The most amazing feeling is coming home without having to worry about homework thats due the next day. Throughout summer vacation the only people bossing you around are your parents. Even though the parents seem to constantly boss us around at least they arent giving extra homework. Parents actually add more fun to summer vacation. Three amazing months without school and teachers is what makes summer a low stress event.
Throughout summer vacation the fun you can have seem unceasing. As a result of the days being longer, curfews are extended to later times. Longer curfews leave more time for fun summer activities like going to a big party or swimming. Hanging out with your friends longer is a bonus that comes with a longer curfew. For people in Bakersfield with children going out of town is essential for an amazing summer and Bakersfields central location allows for bigger varieties of where to travel. The beach, a popular choice, is always crowded but its very relaxing. Going up to the mountains surrounding Bakersfield is also a common choice. Longer curfews and the central location make summer very enjoyable and memorable.
Summer is the greatest season of the year because school becomes a thing of the past, its always sunny and having fun becomes ceaseless. Summer begins around the 20th of June and ends in late September. Everyone has something fun planned to do within those three months of vacation. With the sun always shining its hard not be happy and enjoy summer.
