Listening Process
Listening process means that you receiving the words while you listen. Understanding what you have received and remembered what was said to you. And responding to the person what you had heard with a better understanding what was said. (J.Wood.2010).

There are five great ways to help improve your Listening Process
Receiving
This is the most basic listening process. It can be verbal or nonverbally. We all have to remember that communication is done through speech or someone is speaking to you. It is important that if someone is speaking to you. You must pay attention to what they have said to you. You never interrupt the person who is speaking. Thats just bad manners and being rude to the other person whom is speaking to you.

Understanding
This was the place where you have received information from the person who is speaking to you. It is always good to ask the person to rephrase the question, so that you better understand what they have asked you or said to you.

Remembering
It would be really bad if you did forget what the speaker has just said to you not that long ago. Listening is very important especially if youre at work or at a conference that pertained to your job.

Evaluating
This is the place when you do your evaluating what your response will be. But you do have to remember that you are the listener not the speaker. After you have heard from the speaker and you have retained the information. You are now ready to respond to the question they have asked you.

Responding
Now that you have the understanding and remember what has been said to you during the conversation. You are ready for your response. The listening process is complete. Just remember that you shouldnt complete the sentences of the speaker when they are speaking. (C.Paris.2013).
