Individuals choose abortion for many reasons such as irresponsibility, bad timing, rape, or lack of resources. Although people have different reason, having their baby aborted is not the answer; it is just the easiest way to deal with what they perceive as a problem. Abortion should never be an acceptable alternative to life it goes against human values, religious morals and has a lasting effect on the consciousness of all involved.

The first reason why individuals should not choose abortion is individuals should value a life. People need to think about the lives they are deciding to end, innocent victims of circumstance. The unborn babies did not ask to be here and should have an opportunity at life. If people would look at their situations differently they would see that abortion is never the right answer when there are better alternatives that do not include taking a life like adoption. However, people believe it is their individual choice. People feel they should be able to decide whether or not they want the fetus. When did these individuals lose sight of the value of human life? The unborn child should be allowed to grow and experience life. Once an individual is pregnant, life exists. At the average time when a woman is aware that she is pregnant (the fifth to sixth week after conception), the preborn human being living inside her is metabolizing nutrition, excreting waste, moving, sucking his or her thumb, growing, and doing many other things that non-living things just do not do. As early as 21 days after conception, the babys heart starts to beat his or her own unique blood-type is running through the body, often different than the mothers (Moore & Persaud, The Developing Human, P.30). With all of these things happening how could people say that abortion is not murder?

The second reason individuals should not choose abortion has to do with religious values. In almost all religions, abortion is looked down upon. The Bible does not take a clear stand on abortion however; it does address the fact that children are a blessing. Behold, children are heritages from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward (Psalm 127:3-5 ESV). This verse is a clear indicator of Gods view on the blessing of children and child birth. When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish ( John 16:21 ESV). In this verse the bible addresses the fear individuals experience when it comes to child birth, the fear that has caused many individuals to choose abortion. If only

The verse in question describes the need for a family, especially a family of four or more children, including the mother and the father, to be at work for their children. If this is not possible at that time or in times of need, then what is the best and most humane solution to the situation? (God can not allow those in need to go out to work as their children, but God offers them that choice to the family for its own sake.) If a family doesn’t provide, God simply says “This is not your property.” (Genesis 13:28-31:25 ESV.) This is a very important decision that needs to be made and should be carefully considered by the family and others. If the choice is between the two, then a father and a mother should be given the choice, but the choices that women make in each case can, and should, hurt or even kill themselves. The Bible does not have a clear religious view on abortion however, so for those who are not believers that a woman’s own decisions regarding which children should be given, are still very important. In most churches and other religious institutions there are some exceptions or exceptions that are not a factor in a woman’s decision on her own to abort a child. In all cases Christian teachings about child bearing are very specific, often in terms of the Bible’s teaching on the issue of human reproduction.

On an individual’s own responsibility to choose a life, I think it is fair for all to consider abortion and pregnancy. I do think it is not a wise choice for women to be to one side of a moral and political dispute. An individual may be an equal or even justly endowed with human dignity or human rights, and may not stand in the way of his or her personal or civil rights because of it and because of his or her political views. But in doing so, she may also end up in harm’s way, because she may be the one to suffer more for it than if she chose to live outside the country, or for not fulfilling her duties and for failing to live where she should want to live. I agree with Robert Wood as well regarding the idea of an individual free from the influence of all others and only to be called upon to live the lives that is needed to become the man with whom he or she wants to live in the God they love. In that sense Roe v. Wade was an example of the moral responsibility of the individual to be a father and keep his or her own personal dignity.

But as people, we are human beings and we are judged by who we are as people. Those of us who are blessed in ourselves and in God’s kingdom will always be judged by what happens to those we love. This is true of every situation, for there always are people who truly love God, regardless of their circumstances or how they may have been. And God has said that he will bless those who truly love Him and not punish those who do not.

On the other hand, it
