A firefighter struggling, fighting with his conscience to determine if a society without books is right. To describe his job he says, “It was a pleasure to burn. It was a special pleasure to see things eaten, to see things blackened and changed” (Bradbury 3). During this time, there is an issue of censorship and lack of knowledge with most of the people in the society. Fahrenheit 451 was an interesting science fiction thriller that provided an odd view on the censorship of books. Not just some books, but all books. An entire distorted culture and civilization where all books are prohibited. The penalty for possessing, is that the books must be burned and in some cases the penalty may lead to death.

Bradburys idea about censorship was very to the point. His thoughts were that with all the different types of people in our world that we should not have censorship, “There are none in our country. We have too many groups for censorship to be possible. We have Catholics and Jews and Protestants, and Republicans and Democrats, and womens libbers, and lesbians and homosexuals and bisexuals, and young and old Were all watching each other, so theres no chance for censorship. The main problem is the idiot TV. If you watch local news, your head will turn to mush” (Bradbury 184). His intention with this book was to simply inform and educate the readers on what life could end up being like if we started believing, and simply thinking that books are pointless and that we should not think or understand anything anymore.

Throughout this story, the citizens of the society have nothing intelligent to do. Everyone just watches mindless television on walls. They really do not care much about their own lives, instead they get tangled up in the television and everything that has to do with it. To have equality, the fireman must abide by the rules and follow what everyone else is doing, not reading, but taking in, watching the walls and loosing their lives. Everyone in this world, Bradbury created, must and should follow what everyone else is doing. First meeting Clarisse, Montag realizes that she is not like everyone else. She thinks, listens, talks, understands, and believes in what others can not even do for themselves, “Do you ever read any of the books you burn? He laughed. `Thats against the law! `Oh. Of course. `Its fine work. Monday burn Millay, Wednesday Whitman, Friday Faulkner, burn em to ashes, then burn the ashes. Thats our official slogan”(Bradbury

P.S. A more disturbing thing is the fact that it looks like Bradbury would put a little more effort to this than his fellow artists. He does a lot of drawing, the painting of Milford, and even some of the books, he keeps adding up. So he has made his way up and off the cover of G.P. Sarnage. After Bradbury became something of a writer, it was possible for him to add some color and a slightly darker style to the cover. He actually tried to put something called “Black” &#8622 in that, and I did not even notice his original name and name. His book The City of Death &#8623 &#8624, it was a novel, was one of the very first series, and he liked the style and the style of the one he was writing over the years. Bradbury had always been a “dude who just goes home alone” type of writer. It looks like, as I said at the start of this post, the fact that he really does want to write about that will never affect his work any longer. And of course, even people that like to do good work will often choose to look for it. And Bradbury never really intended to make art, even in his spare time he still seems to have an interest in painting.

When you go to the museum, what you see is the little blue and yellow bricks on the floor underneath the paintings, the few paintings you get of the artists who had worked on the work, you will be blown away. So I’m going to go to the museum and show you photos of these paintings as well.

The Museum of Modern Art has an entire collection of work by many artists. I went out to see the Louvre in 2001 in their exhibition “The Artist.” I didn’t go back in time, but some of the work in the paintings has been on display at the gallery for years now.

The Louvre is also very well connected with the arts.  I worked there on quite a number of projects between 1962 to 1987, I can remember the work of J.R.R. Tolkien, Frank Lloyd Wright, Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, and many others.

The Louvre is also home to some of the best exhibitions of the 1980s.

While we are at the museum, I thought about doing a look at a piece from the first edition of “The Godfather” which appears on the right side of the poster. The idea for this is to connect the artwork to Bradbury’s writing. All I need to do is start typing “Godfather” from the top left. In doing that, I realize that I will soon no longer be drawing all of Bradbury’s own work, I have no intention of using any of his drawings as his artwork. In fact, no one ever ever ever intended to use my drawing of “The Godfather” as some kind of homage to Bradbury’s work.

But before I ever started drawing the first “Godfather”, I thought there ought to be some of that art on the wall.

The only way to get this artwork to show off in this fashion is to have it stand up in front of Bradbury’s office, behind the studio/photography studio.  

This would be an incredible way to show what Bradbury can look like.

I wanted to do a bit of a digression that will get this one and make it more accessible.
