We find ourselves in this situation because we would want to communicate something meaningful that we know already. However, the lack of the communication capabilities of the major companies that we have been asking for is a major issue and there may be very little room in our system for the public to view it openly. If it is not presented publicly, we are only adding to the complexity of this system. A large corporation has probably a million people. We can get them to talk when the opportunity arises. The more time and resources we need to spend communicating the news, the clearer we will be in the next few years if we have the power to increase digital awareness of our organization and our business. These changes are not only necessary but necessary to address problems we have known about and identified ourselves to solve. However, while we have learned a great deal from our experience, we do not have much from the past. The current problems involve no longer a technology-based solution. They involve a more global and globally based solution where they require technology, not just individual technology. In the global economy, technology provides much of the wealth and most effective power to the economy. Thus, it has increased the potential for creating opportunity. The question now is how do we address these problems? Are we ready? Perhaps we are or will become a little more innovative so that we can deliver on our goal and create great benefits, but in order to be truly effective we need to address problems we do not have. An understanding that digital media is necessary is essential. When we do not yet have a clear understanding of the true nature of media, we have to start from scratch to resolve the problem of how and what we can do.
