Ashley Wong2nd period Pancakes are a better choice for eating than waffles. Pancakes are a common, yummy breakfast for people to eat. There are many reasons why pancakes are the best choice. Pancakes were once very plain and eaten very plain. Now people decorate it in many artistic ways. Pancakes are the easiest and healthiest to eat and make. Unlike waffles, pancakes are easier to make and healthier than waffles. According to www.nutritiondata.self, pancakes are healthier by having no sugar and low fat whereas waffles are high in sodium. In addition, www.foodtv.com states that pancakes are easier to make because people just need a griddle, but waffles, you need an iron which makes them look at it very carefully so it won’t burn. According to www.helium.com, when a person cooks pancakes, they can control the size and it doesn’t get soggy, whereas waffles are soggy and hard to control the size. This evidence shows that pancakes aren’t only healthier than waffles, but easier to make.
Pancakes have more variety then waffles. According to www.helium.com, people will be able to make different shapes by using cookie cutters when for waffles, it is really hard to. Plus, people can make pancakes that are different colors and flavors by using different mix while when they are trying to do it for waffles; it will look really gross because it’s not common. Another thing according to www.foodiesunite.com, is that pancakes has more healthy toppings to add on rather than waffles because waffle’s common toppings contain whip cream while pancake’s common toppings are fruit. This evidence shows that people must agree that pancakes have more variety for designs then waffles.
