Although Judge Robert Sweet ruled in favor of McDonald’s, stating that the plaintiffs failed to show that the products consumed were “dangerous in any way other than that which was open and obvious to a reasonable consumer,” the lawsuit raised the question: Who is responsible for childhood obesity?
