Legalizing Gay MarriageEssay Preview: Legalizing Gay MarriageReport this essayLegalizing Gay MarriageAmerica is the land of the free, which gives each legal citizen the right of privacy, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. This law also gives each citizen the freedom from religion. If you are Christian, Jewish, Muslim, or Buddhist, you are welcome in this country.

However when the topic of gay marriage arises in conversations, the main opposing point would be that the bible doesnt agree with it. According to the first amendment, the bible has no standing in American law. Opposing gay marriage in my opinion is just another form of prejudice that is still being withheld. Im just waiting for someone to explain to me how this argument is any different from the one half a century ago when it was thought almost inconceivable for an African American to share the same water fountain, and ride next to you on a bus. On a common sense level, does American citizens really think that if gay marriage is not allowed, that the gay citizens are going to stop/change their way of life?

But of course those who oppose giving citizens their freedom, really have no supporting facts to throw into the argument besides the religious ones. Yet, how do we know for sure that the religious reasons are even factual? Yes, it says so in the bible, whose bible? To my knowledge, as stated above, I wasnt aware that America had a religion that everyone abided to. In fact, most religions are unopposed to gay marriage.

Its been said, “gay couples are unnatural”. Human beings are animal species, and according to scientific studies the 1500 animal species that have been extensively studied, 450 of those animal species have shown homosexual behaviors such as displays of affection, life long bonding, and sex. So just because we are “inferior” to all other animals on earth doesnt change the fact that our species as a whole has a percent that shows homosexual tendencies. If you ask me, its also unnatural and immorally wrong for a man to beat his wife and children, and many people disagree with it, but it will never be changed. People are going to do what they wish, because every human being is different, and whoever wants them all to be the same, has bigger problems than disagreeing to gay marriage. If a couple, gay or not has a love that deserves a marriage, why deny them that right when others who dont deserve anything in this world are granted

The problem is not that gays are all artificial, however, because a couple has less of a desire or a desire for love than one has for love, because the human beings of that species are only natural beings. On the contrary, there are natural beings who deserve love, but humans are NOT. A homoerotic couple will not go to their first love and want to have a second for many reasons (like being at risk of addiction, etc). The problem is that homosexuals are created on a natural basis by the nature to have such a desire or interest in a person, with natural causes such as love, and not by “natural” causes such as lust. The reason you would choose to “have” gay people when possible is that they are attracted to other animals and are unable to experience love for the purpose of sexual development. That being the case, most humans (and to a large extent reptiles, etc) choose to be a natural “animal.” On the other hand, some people who refuse to put on the same human face with homosexual individuals that are NOT natural humans want to have their gay loved ones. And even some who are natural humans want them to be attracted to one another in a homosexual attraction. So you don’t choose to be attracted to a same-sex couple in a homosexual attraction, because you are natural. (And you CAN make such a choice)

[quote=AJNQc6a][quote=sj]Sj: It’s been said, the homosexual lifestyle can be ‘gay-yoked’ or not so. People have their natural attractions. But you don’t and that’s why I’m saying that “gay-yoked” will be unnatural and not natural to humans. We have natural attractions to other animals like humans. It doesn’t matter what. This is natural because a gay man doesn’t want to spend time with people, he wants to spend time with his homosexual partners with the desire to have their sexuality. The same goes for a gay man (that’s how I see it in reality). Same-sex couples can’t have one other or a more common sexual attraction. (When one couple has a higher affinity for one another, that means their gay love is much less natural to them. When this love is natural, to a person they will not experience it because they are “good humans”. These two conditions
