The Analysis of Dirty Dancing
“Nobody puts baby in a corner.” The movie Dirty Dancing is a movie that I would recommend to teach others about different classes of society. The movie Dirty Dancing takes place in 1963 at the Catskill Mountains which is located in New York. Although the movie was filmed at Lake Lure, NC and Mountain Lake, VA the director Emile Ardolino put the audience at the New York country club. This movie was necessary to show and teach others although people come from different back grounds dancing is something that everyone can build friendships doing together. The movie Dirty Dancing is a good movie in which others from different backgrounds come together, friendships are developed and how patience improves dancing skills.

During the movie the scenes that show the character Baby being included in the workers of the country club shows how people from different backgrounds can get alone and become a group of people dancing together. While the movie progresses it shows how the character Baby helps Penny by getting her medical attention that she needed during a bad situation. When the characters Baby and Johnny danced it was like there was no one else in the room although their dance so proficient took time to gather their patience with each other while working together was impeccable.

It is important in today’s society for people with different backgrounds to learn to work together. While watching the movie I saw several examples of this depicted one of which is when Johnny was teaching Baby the dance moves. Although they both got frustrated at times they continued with practicing and the dance was flawless at the end of the movie. Another part of the movie that showed different backgrounds of people working together is the scene in which Baby is at the workers clubhouse and she sees all of them dancing together, even though she didn’t know how to dance at this point
