It was seen as a new place where one wouldnt be judged on their past, and everyone was welcome. Anybody, even someone off the boat with pocket change, could do anything imaginable with their lives in the “Land of the Free”. America has grown, and so has other nations. The American dream is dead ever since other nations have started developing as quickly as the United States.
A familiarity with the American Dream is necessary in order to understand why it is failing. The American Dream is a concept that started early on in Americas birth with the idea that anyone was welcome to start something of their own, and be successful with it. The social aspect of the American dream was with social classes. America was unique in the sense that it really didnt have social classes because everyone was a farmer or an endentured servant to the farmer. Everyone was on a more or less equivalent playing field.
The aptly named Industrial Revolution came to the United States and well, revolutionized the entire structure of the United States. While women were still vastly undervalued as workers, racism was finally and legally put to an end. This marked the huge push for equality. African Americans were getting rights and this expanded the American dream to African American males. The invention of steel allowed the people to build massive structures, which gave birth to the stories of magnificent buildings. This added on to the increasing want of urbanization, and companies grew. The inventors of these companies and their products became rich and revolutionized the Dream as well. Inventing things became the way of the Dream. Anyone with an idea could start a buisness with it because of the freedom expressed and available in the United States. The Industrial Revolution began in 1798, and the world was built in its place. More and more people started migrating to the West and into cities, factories, the factories of the world became available. With this new economy developed, people wanted to move to a country. For the first time in the history of mankind, the land was free of discrimination and violence. Now the wealth of this continent was redistributed among the people of the World.
The United States was born out of a political struggle between the industrialist class- which by then had grown into the most powerful nation on earth, and the new industrial society- which was the world’s first democracy- but not that. In 1839, John F. Kennedy was assassinated by the Black Panther Party. The next week, a grand jury in New York indicted the leaders of the Party on charges of racism. All the other members were tried for their participation in the murder.
In 1845, Charles Lindbergh, president of the United States and co-founder of the famous “Revolutionary” organization, founded the United States Navy of America. In the following year, William Penn became president of the United States. When Penn became the first person to live ashore, the people all gathered together under the banner of the United States Navy to fight back. John F. Kennedy and George W. Bush joined the armed forces but the war ended soon after. George F. Kennedy was sentenced to the firing squad and sentenced to life imprisonment. It would remain that way for many years and many others even later.
The Revolution took over America as we know it. It was a huge movement of people. It was the birth of the modern American Dream. What I’m going to show you is why the World was created in 1798, more and more people who came here and wanted a different way of living in America, were already there. The next step for me was the Industrial Revolution. It was the invention of the wheel. Once the wheels changed, the industrial economy grew. This revolution created the opportunity to change this world, all that has to be changed for a better world we live in.
The next phase for me was the Industrial Revolution. The workers demanded more power, more control. This revolution expanded the power of the government for less money. This revolution meant that the government didn’t have to act like the capitalists, but instead started to run all the factories throughout the country. That was revolution and that revolution was the big idea of the United States. It’s clear that the United States is not an industrialized nation anymore, but a great democracy. This revolution of the people and government in the USA has enabled America to run the world. It’s the greatest opportunity the history has given to the history of the whole man.
The World Wars and the Great Depression created a new political culture. They allowed the government to keep in touch with people, especially for the very young people. This new culture changed the way that America was run. From “American democracy” to the concept of a democracy, people had to fight against government and government to make some sense for themselves. In World War II, people could go to court, and it took time. This new political culture gave people a way to take responsibility for personal and social problems. This new political culture was a new way to represent the people in order to move their money forward and get that next big investment or better job
