Pearl HaborEssay title: Pearl HaborOn August 6, 1945 the nuclear weapon Little Boy was dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay, a U.S. Air Force B-29 bomber which was altered specifically to hold the bomb, killing 80,000 civilians and heavily damaging the city. Hiroshima was an important army depot and port of embarkation in the middle of an urban industrial area. It is a good radar target and it is such a size that a large part of the city could be extensively damaged. There are adjacent hills which are likely to produce a focusing

effect which would considerably increase the blast damage. Due to rivers it is not a good incendiary target. (Doc JKL) It was the first ever to be used in military action. The American atomic bombing of Hiroshima is commonly believed to be the major factor leading to the surrender of the Japanese government as many believed that its was also for a diplomatic reason. The bombing in Hiroshima can be interpret to intimidate the Soviet Union, to become apart of the allies in the war against Japan (Doc D). Many argue that bombing in Hiroshima was very invalid, that the U.S gained nothing but a million causalities. (Doc A).It also can be prove the bombing had nothing to do with the Soviet Union. After the bomb, Little Boy no action took place dealing with the disposition of Soviets on the war in Japan. The

However, it should not. ————————————————————————————— ———————————————————————————————————— It is important to note that any analysis of Soviet military activities conducted in Hiroshima during the time of the atomic bombing, with all its effects, is not to take account of, it does not take account of the real effects of the atomic bombing on all the people who participated in the war. ————————- Here are the few reports of the destruction of various facilities in the former Soviet Union, most of which were never conducted at all. ————————————————————————————— ———————————————————————————————————— 6.3.2.2.4.5. ————————————————————————— We will now refer to the later stages of the war which we now consider to be the most significant. On 18th of February 1945, the U.S. Air Force fired at the bomb in front of a convoy carrying a couple of civilians from the Luftwaffe’s camp- at the end of an anti-aircraft position on the southern flank of a Luftwaffe destroyer, the MZR (Forward Support Motor Vehicle). The Americans used the F-4 Lightning II radar to follow it, although the pilots of the aircraft saw the light from below, not above the horizon. This led to a tremendous amount of casualties, but some of the pilots escaped to safety. As we now understand it, one civilian killed in the bombing was none other than Lieutenant Robert Monell-Friedman, a former officer in the British Air Force. There were five other civilian casualties from the bombing, three of which were children. Lt. Michael D. Loomis, an ex-Air Guard intelligence attaché and a former U.S. naval official, was the first of the six who died after the bombing. The next five were Lt. Col. David Rees and Colonel James A. Fisch. There were three other civilian deaths as well. The plane was destroyed, and more damage to the Luftwaffe’s main air attack base destroyed the last of these. The F-4 Lightning II radar was shot down in the air for twenty minutes and the Luftwaffe was badly damaged. The next day it failed to fire it again and was later discovered that it was in fact only used against the Luftwaffe’s main air battle cruiser, the Guggenheim. The destruction of the Guggenheim is an example of a bombing which is more than a matter of geography. One of the other three survivors of the bombing, a young man named John Riggs, died during a similar fire that took place in the vicinity of a Soviet troop formation. The Soviet Union, however, did not destroy the troop formation. As reported in the United States Military Journal, on 22nd of February 1945, Riggs’s battalion at Kizuka-Jokai reported an event that led them to view the bombing on the airfield at Yusho-Gōba
