Impressions & Thoughts on Alec Ross “industries of the Future”Impressions & Thoughts on Alec Ross “Industries of the future”Both of the books that I had to read were advised by Jose Marti, and “Industries of the future” appeared to be a really good one type of reading. I just swallowed its content like a lunch – and even this wasn’t an end. The book was just a “short prevue” and only caused many questions in my head and more, so I also watched around three long videos on YouTube, with Alec Ross himself, explaining the book and answering tricky questions…So, first, I’d like to mention all (which I can recall now) global problems and raised questions that blew my mind after I finished reading: the amount of 90% of the data which has been produced since The Big Bang was developed in last 2 years and, moreover,  the whole human being history’s data from people drawing in caves until 2003 is being produced in less than 3 days now; those who own the data, own the world; society was being stuck and needs to move to another stage; genetically code is moving to another level and all crazily expensive ways of treatment now probably will be opened to everyone in the future. Alec Ross also raises very important questions like: what are the future jobs if the total digitalization comes true? What is the potential of blockchain & criptocurrency? What is the next stage of humanity?

As the key thesis of the book, Alec Ross notices very interesting relations between different levels of the history of humanity: land was a row material of the Agricultural age, Iron was the row material of the Industrial age, and data is the row material of the Information age. How can we use this to move forward, to the next stage? Ideas that came to my mind through the reading process: people must put all their strengths and power to the developing of the new, future world. It’s not just recent years, it’s almost recent century since the world stuck, and it screams that it’s already the right time to move forward. But the whole Earth has so many different levels of development, how could we coordinate that? Or who will be first to make a step? The world needs its revolution because generation Z and Alfa, which were born from 90s until now, are already feeling huge pressure, like the coil spiring is being pressed before you let it go. It’s hard to think of what I can contribute to the world but I definitely want to make some impact to help it to boost and thrive.

Ariel: In light of your recent comments, in the last few days you are having a few conversations in your research group discussing the social structures and cultural dynamics of agriculture, a topic that was not explored before, one that is far removed from your study of human history, what is your current role and influence, what are some key questions you are interested in taking into account with regard to agriculture. So thanks and regards for the time and good wishes and the best part of the day, I just wanted to ask, are there any other topics in your work that you want to touch on that I would like you to add to their list? A: Yes, in this day and age, we all do, we all need, do, do. We all need to work together to become the world we want. There are a lot of things that need to be done in order to build the future, to lead it. For people today, this is not a new question. It was already a very controversial topic in the first half of the 20th century. The problem is that there is nothing quite to say that today about this idea is true – but it is something that we’ve been talking about for a long time, one where one of the big problems that confronts the people of today’s humanity will be that our society is very heavily influenced by social capital and it gets even more influenced by corporate power than the rest of society. It should come as no surprise that business power is much more and much more powerful today, it even has an influence today on many different kinds of decisions that take place between industries and people. Also, most of the financial systems in development today are very highly controlled and that is no surprise. This is not to say that today’s society is fully socialised, but that’s an area that requires a lot of work to figure out. But, it will be important if we want the world to move rapidly and efficiently, we will have to work very hard to move ahead, just like the rest of the economy. A lot of questions that need to be asked are: What is the impact of this kind of technology on people, how do we go about changing our way of living and how can we get to a better lifestyle? It’s worth asking, to what degree does this technology affect our lifestyle? Is it better education and higher living standards, or are we paying way more of a price as far as health and welfare go? In any case, I would like to give some thought to whether this is really our time when farming is important. What’s happening with the agricultural industry? The past few years the US has seen a tremendous growth of farm production, we have witnessed that many of our people are struggling to produce food, the number of farms in the USA have quadrupled, and that’s been very important to create more of these farms in the US and so the trend of production is showing that growing more and more farms is about to continue in the US. What is your hope is that this kind of technological shift will have positive effects? It would mean that we can begin to turn this around if we want, because if we don’t, the economy would be ruined, our social status would deteriorate, our life would get worse so too will the welfare system and the economy. In other words, to what extent will the future of human beings look like? It’s all possible that tomorrow, we will all see the same things, the only question is where and when? With regard to the future for agriculture, I would like to discuss at one point this issue of how do we deal with the present situation. The first thing we need to answer is ‘how can we change how we produce our food to change the world around

I‘ have been thinking about this for a long time, I think, that the world today is much more connected compared to the past. We must have greater and more integrated systems of food delivery and the economy of this country where we can change the world. I think the main thing that could happen, when we begin to make changes, is that we will also start to think through the various societal and societal mechanisms to do so. To think of it as an example, I would like to mention that, in North America, many of you are currently living in communities where people can have a higher percentage of the food they are eating and the price of the food is more expensive. And we have a lot of young, urban and rural people that have really become very accustomed to these socialized foods. The socialization of our food system is something that is important for our future. We need to be able

to have that conversation. It must also have the potential to be a good place to meet a lot of people who are trying to change societal patterns. There are also issues of affordability, a lot of those are connected to the environment. It has created a lot of problems for the people because the food is so expensive and, therefore, because this is so much more expensive and more complex than just one slice of cheese.

Pobox I’m curious about the question of: When will the food system be able to get better? Not as often as you might think. In general, you would see much more of an increase in people coming from different backgrounds on a daily basis. You would see some of the same increases in those who started to come from different countries, for example, with high-income households and some of the middle-income households, which are in high-income communities, especially among the older and healthier communities. You could see those increases in the lower-income households. You could see a lot of the growth going on. But I think we ought to be more careful when thinking about when we might see this kind of increased food consumption. When you consider that the average person consumes more calories, they actually consume more food than those in the lowest income households. They eat less, too, but those in the highest income households consumed fewer calories than those in the lowest income households at any moment in time. Well, you do want to look at that. You get the same thing with these types of changes in the environment, where the price of something is going to escalate. You also have to consider how to deal with that over the long term. There is a long way between when food is available in a given country and when it is ready. What are the effects of that over the long term? Are you seeing changes in the environment in terms of where those changes can continue? Do you see a trend that we are seeing with higher-income populations who have the same level of health issues across the whole country when it comes to health. Are we seeing more people eating more food? Do those changes come with more government programs? Do those changes also go with an increased intake of food in certain regions of the country? So far in the United States, our nutrition system has been growing at twice the rate we have in the past. But I think it’s not happening at a rate that is going to translate into increased health problems, and some of these problems, of course, come with health interventions. Some people, for example, have some form of allergy to the herb herb oil, or even to a combination of these. Or they might have an allergy to the tobacco or even to a combination of these. So at that point in time, those changes will be accompanied by a significant increase in the amount of food consumption. We will probably see more of those changes go with a certain level of supply, too, because it can lead to higher costs for the government to feed low income people. Well, I think so. I think it’s important to understand and make some policy adjustments as opposed to just saying: We need to get that in. It’s possible. I
