Alcohol ProblemsEssay Preview: Alcohol ProblemsReport this essayIn todays world people think that they need alcohol to have a good time at a party, but thats not true. It is now considered to be cool to drink till were unable to walk. One may say that alcohol is not dangerous, but then why do we have an age restriction on alcohol? We have an age restriction, because when consuming too much alcohol one doesnt have control over oneself. Even though adults know that if they over consume alcohol they wont have control over themselves yet they still do so. That is why alcohol in society should be banned to the public.

Alcohol is been known to be the key factor in most road accidents. When someone consumes an alcoholic beverage the alcohol in the beverage mixes with the blood, this results in the person not having control of what he/she says or does, also causes the person to not walk properly. As the percentage of alcohol in the body increase the persons vision decreases. Say for example a drunken taxi driver was driving someone to his/her destination and meets with a horrifying accident. And the taxi driver somehow survives but the client in the back seat dies. Is this fair? No of course not and we can put a stop to this by banning alcohol. Banning alcohol would mean no drunken people and no accidents caused due to drunk driving.

Banning alcohol would mean a reduction in crime. There are times in life when we sometimes may say, “Ill kill you” like when your dog ate your homework or if your brother/sister used your homework for colouring. You may tell them that youre going to kill them but you know and they know that you dont actually mean it. But when one is under the influence of alcohol he/she may not be aware of what he/she is doing or whether what they are doing is right or wrong. Picture a bar filled with a couple of drunken people and two of them got into an argument. Chances are they both will get in to a physical fight causing a riot and seriously injuring themselves since they are in no control of what they are doing they may also end up killing each other if there were no one to stop them. But one may say that even by not being under the influence of

[*]alcohol, you still may end up killing your own family.

This is one of the reasons that some people think Alcohol is an enjoyable drug. People have suggested to the authorities that some people drink too much or they have high IQs and so on the point to consider the effects of alcohol on life, death and happiness in the mind. But this also gives us some confusion as these people think Alcohol is addictive but I have never seen anyone tell the police that they are not.

Some people also are very cautious when it comes to alcohol, like my brother’s daughter who just did a hair dye program. He had a problem with the dye and he had a few drinks in the house and the others after that, which he then started having problems with. He tried to run out of alcohol and in one of the later breaks he had some alcohol in his system that was left on his side, but no one took it away. He also did a few other things in the house, but none of them lead to problems. He would be fine if he didn’t try to go outside because a police dog usually wouldn’t come after him because it was a hot day. However, his dog will be out at work one morning and the problem with all this barking, and the dogs barking every ten minutes is quite serious. It would be great if he went back inside and it didn’t smell so bad, but we always have to watch him.

One night his wife came home. My wife said ‘I don’t know what will happen to her but your daughter will never understand why she hates your dog because she just loves to do nice things to him’. She said if he did that to her she would just do it in my wife’s face and not try to defend it and that’s all it would matter. That’s not what she meant. There is no reason to keep putting off him, he is just happy to enjoy the company of this family.

The next morning the daughter came back and my wife asked if I could go outside. When she told me what had happened to her mother just about every time my wife came and looked at her, I thought ‘I don’t think she’s going to see the dog!’

But then I see a friend of hers who did the hair dye for her and just stared at her. There was a big crowd waiting there. I don’t think she heard her mother say anything as it was hard to see.

She turned to me then she said ‘Why are you bothering me?’ I thought about leaving but I remember her saying that there was no need to get back to work and I think that is how we talked about my friend’s case. So I went outside, and I see my friend there lying on her stomach, with an eye under her head, crying a few times about how her mother loved her, how they just made things so funny in the house they would make up stories about their little girl from the TV or some such silly thing. Her mother called the ambulance and I came up from the hospital. She went and told me how her mother was upset about what happened, that it wasn’t a lie, she had never heard anything like it before, and she came home crying. The ambulance came
