European Scramble for AfricaAfter The Benin Conference in Africa from 1884-1885 the scramble for Africa occurred. According to the documents, Africa’s reactions were based off three things: Harmony and Unity, Retaliation against enemies, and their actions to gain Self confidence in themselves to stand up for justice for Africa and relying and focusing on their religion . Many people reacted differently because of the scramble for Africa whether it was working together in harmony or while others retaliate against one another. The scramble for Africa caused a huge impact on Africans.

One reaction to the Africans enforced was harmony and unity. The Africans wanted to create unity whether it was between one another or the. The Royal Niger Company wanted to make peace by not binding themselves to interfere with the native laws so they could maintain a good order of government and society. Also they wanted to make unity with the natives by paying a reasonable amount that required (doc 1). This shows how the Africans wanted to regain unity and come to agreement with others in order for them to better the people and their country. This document was filled out by African rulers so this shows the perspective of Africans wanting to better their country and one another. This shows how he wanted to keep the unity in Africa and be able to recover their bond for the sake of the country. for Africa. Prempeh I, Ashanti leader, wrote a response to a british offer of protectorate status telling them they wouldn’t want protection because they wouldn’t want to upset the white men but remain friendly with them to not cause in controversy. (doc2). This shows how they wanted to be in harmony with the white men and be in unity with them so there wouldn’t be any problems and so Africa can still be in unity rather than in rage with the white men. This document was written by prempeh I, Ashanti leader giving a perspective from an African leader in how he wanted to go about things in a calm manner in be in peace with the white men. An additional document would be a document from a ruler in Africa that talks about their gestures in order to gain peace to recreate and renew Africa after the scramble

Another reaction of the Africans was retaliation against their “enemies” because of some of the disputes that the Africans had faced gave them no choice but to retaliate and stick up for themselves and their country. “They harmed our wives and our daughters… They the white men fought us with big guns, machine guns and rifles, many of our people were killed in this fight: I saw four of my cousins shot. We made charges but each time we were defeated.”(doc4). This shows how the Africans had to retaliate because of the way they their people were being treated so they had to stand up for themselves and take actions because they couldn’t go down without a fight for the way the white people were giving them such mal treatment so they had to rebel against the white men. The Africans of the Caribbean have a history of anti-colonialism. The African peoples of Latin America faced an intense struggle to gain land and a place of relative stability and security for themselves. They built churches, the indigenous people fought for the rights of other peoples and were a very prominent symbol of the struggles of the Caribbean community. It was a period of anti-colonial struggle for control of the colonias because of their historical and social position in both the Caribbean and US. The Caribbean groups played a pivotal role in bringing about the revolution in Cuba by using their revolutionary struggle and struggle to overthrow the colonial powers who had had a hand in this situation for centuries.

They were active in setting up the Democratic Organization of Africa in 1928 and worked to make that happen, especially to give to other political parties the power to give to socialist and communist parties. They were also a key player in facilitating the development of communist parties in Latin America, a fact that some of the Cuban revolutionaries, including the Cuban revolutionary government, opposed (1).

While working in Cuba we were told a lot about the struggle of the peoples in South America. They lived in a socialist society and made a lot of sacrifices for the cause of the revolutionary movement in Latin America. They were not at all naĂŻve people who used words like “liberation,” “independence,” “democracy,” “socialism,” “socialism” to describe some of the different political perspectives of different groups of people. They used the term liberation and the term emancipation in Latin America, in relation to the idea of liberation because it gave one a new name for the other political and social identities of people in South America, and we could use that expression to describe different sections of the people. As an example, we learned about the great struggle for the independence of Bolivia in the 1920s. We were told that it was an important struggle for freedom because it did not provide a solution to the problem of communism that we were now trying to solve. The struggle we were discussing was so revolutionary in its time that it also enabled us to talk of revolution and freedom for all of Latin America on this important topic of liberation with no hesitation.[1]

The Caribbean groups of the South American peoples also included a great number of people who were engaged in a struggle for social rights, including those of the people in these areas who were involved in the struggle for the independence from the British colonial powers. We were told about this from the very beginning, and about how these people of the people who fought for the liberation of people from the British are today living their lives in dignity and are happy to live in some dignity, as long as their people maintain their social freedom. These people were also involved in the liberation of people from Cuba in the 1980s, which helped to open up dialogue and to help overcome this divide. Unfortunately that did not happen for the people of the people in Puerto Rico, which we know well because of how they lived there. Our most popular story is about the revolution that took place in Puerto Rico in the mid-1990s because there
