In 8th grade the last few days before graduation we had a lot of free time. There was not much teaching going just all of the 8th graders sitting around the classrooms goofing around and what not. My friends and I began to have a massive royal rumble in the middle of one of the classrooms. It was a lot of fun, especially because our teacher did not seem to mind that we were wrestling in the room. I mean why would she; we would be gone in only a few days. It began as a joke pretty much, but then we started to really go hard at one another. We were not throwing punches or anything but it just got very intense. The girls that were in the room with us were sitting down in a circle pretty close to us. Once we had finally stopped all of us were standing up talking about who got their butt beat the most. When all of a sudden one of my friends decided he was going to tackle my other friend for no apparent reason. It probably would have been very funny but he tackled the kid right into the circle of girls. This was not good, not good at all. One of the girls in the circle began to get a little teary eyed. At first I thought it was nothing just the girl being a bit of a drama queen. But when she finally moved her hands from her face it was obvious she was going to have a pretty large shiner underneath her eye. We all told her it would be nothing and she would be fine. We were extremely wrong. I did not see the girl till graduation and when I saw her she had maybe the worst black eye I had ever seen. The whole graduation ceremony she could not stop crying because of how bad her eye looked. Her parents were not to pleased that their daughter was so upset for her graduation. As well as every picture she was in she looked very upset, and had a huge black eye. The boys and I did not get in huge trouble but parents were defiantly frustrated with the way we acted. That is my story on a some what comic scene was turned into a tragic scene.
