Surroundings and mental emotions can greatly be influenced with colours (Art Therapy, n.d.). Studies reveal that some colours tend to have healing effects on health. The orange colour is considered as the universal healer. However evidence is little and hence lack of support exists for positive impacts of colours on health (Carpman & Grant, 2016). On another hand, studies reveal that use of colours in hospital waiting areas has been found to have relaxing, warm, and calm effects on the patients and their health, proving that colours can have positive effects on health and human psychology (Zraati, 2012). Task 2Advanced Essay Following Introductory Paragraph:In my family, there are three women and three men. The three women are my mother, my sister, and me. The men are my father and my two brothers. From my own experience and observations, there are similarities and differences in the behaviour of males and females in my family in regard to how they communicate, what they communicate, and the way they shop.I conducted a secondary research and obtained that key reasons for differences existing in the way males and females communicate are due to the differences in their levels of perceptions. The way the males and females have their views regarding various issues and factors, vary, and hence their communications and what they communicate, also tend to vary. I found that communication is used as a tool by women to improve their social connections and share their views toward developing their relationships. In fact, I could well relate this finding to my family members too (Merchant, 2012). However, for the males the communication is a tool that focuses more on their nature of dominance and their targets to achieve tangible outcomes. As I also experienced within my family, I realized that the females tend to be more expressive in their communications than their male counterparts. Also, I found that males are more assertive in nature and they tend to have a hunger for power as they communicate anything, unlike the females (Merchant, 2012). For instance, in my own experience, I realize that when my father communicates any particular need of his that he wants to be fulfilled by my mother, for example asking for a cup of coffee, and if my mother takes a little longer to serve him with that, he feels ignored and expresses anger too. However, the same has in many cases occurred with us or my mother too, but my mother has always been more polite and less assertive in her communications, thus clearly defining the differences, which I realize as being explained by the differences of their views and opinions (Merchant, 2012).
