The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) was established to care for Veterans that served the country. Who may be eligible for VA benefits are Veterans dependent, uniformed service member, surviving spouse, parent or children of a deceased Veteran. The VA provides a wide range of benefits, Disability, Education and Training, Home Loan Guaranty, Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, Dependant and Survivor Benefits, Burial Benefits, Life Insurance, and Medical Treatment. VA is structure into three main service Veterans Benefits Administration (Compensation, Education, Home Loan Guaranty, etc.), Veterans Health Administration (all health care services), and National Cemetery Administration (national and state Veterans cemeteries). VA is committed to the health care of our nations Veterans, which including Veterans that is homeless or at risk of homeless. The VA health care provides care to Veterans from all service through Community-Base Outpatient Clinics, VA Hospitals, and Vet Centers. Any homeless Veteran, that needs medical assistance, can make a free call to the Nation Call Center for homeless Veterans and received service, on Safe Housing, Opportunities to return to employment, Mental Health Service and Health Care.

The VA service all population and ages and sexiest of Veterans, surviving spouse, parents or child of a deceased Veterans, Veterans dependent, and uniformed service member.

The VA offers services as Safe housing, Opportunities to find employment, Meant and Health Care, Veterans at risk of homelessness, Homeless Veterans and their families. Safe Housing program providers grant and per diem program payments that help nonprofit and public organizations establish operate supportive service centers and housing for Veterans. VA housing program is a joint effort between the Urban Development and Department of Housing, and HUD has a “Housing Choice” section eight vouchers for Veterans and their families to live in a good market while assigned a case management worker from the VA. Opportunities to find employment programs, Compensated work Therapy (CWT) VAs program has three programs to assist homeless Veterans to find competitive employment: Transitional Work, Supported Employment, and Sheltered Workshop. Veterans that are in these programs will be paid at least the federal or state minimum wage, whichever is the higher. Homeless Veteran Supported Employment Program (HVSEP) provides placement and job development, vocational assistance, and continually service to improve employment outcome. Homeless Veterans get substantial hands-on assistance from the VA. The VA relies on families and friends of homeless Veterans, and community organization to connect Veterans with health care services they deserve.
