(Preview of main points)- I will explain:
equipment required and how to pick the right ones for the level of your game
manner of play
technique needed to play the game
types of tennis tournaments
greatest players
Conclusion
(Transition)- Now let me show you how to master game of tennis.
Choosing the right equipment is very important when it comes to any sport. In tennis you will definitely need a 29 inch synthetic racquet, a tennis ball preferably in optic yellow which allows for better visibility and if you are an advanced player you probably need a sweat band for your wrist and tennis shoes with wide, flat soles and built up front structure for stability.

(Transition: As we already know what gear is needed, lets talk about the manner of play)
Tennis is played on a rectangular, flat surface, usually grass, clay, a hard-court of concrete, and occasionally carpet when played indoors. The court is 78 feet long and 27 feet wide. The white lines that outline the width of court are called baselines and service lines. With that being said, you might wonder about scoring. In tennis, there are 3 main points you must be familiar with:

Game- which consists of a sequence of points played with the same player serving. A game is won by the first player to have won at least four points in total and at least two more than the opponent.

Set- consists of a sequence of games played with service alternating between games, ending when the count of games won meets certain criteria.
Match- the outcome of a tennis match is determined through a best of three of five sets system.
