Abstract
The high suicide rate of depression has raised deep concerns for the disease, which has become a global mental epidemic. A survey found that depression accounted for 4.3% of the global population. Depression has a great negative impact on patient’s thinking, behavior and even social economy. But many people are misunderstood in depression, and even seen as a kind of evil. So many patients do not want to receive professional treatment. This article cites a variety of information on depression, including symptoms, etiology and treatment.
