Based on the environmental (SWOT/TOWS) analysis you conducted on your chosen organization, what strategy would you recommend moving the organization in a new direction? The strategy should be a high-level explanation of what issues you uncovered in your analysis and how to improve the organization’s market and financial performance.
My recommendation would be expanding the business by promoting the brand through social media. This would allow Deep Roots Distillery to attract new customers. Other ways to expand the business would be to add different flavors. These flavors can be added on a quarterly basis depending on the season. This will generate curiosity from customers and eagerness to try something new. Creating a full line of cooking wine and liquors will increase sales. Social Media Marketing will generate an increase in sales due to online advertising.
Identify the key functional organizations that will be involved in implementing your chosen strategy (marketing, operations, accounting, sales, HR, etc.). What role does each functional organization play in implementing the strategy?
Many departments are involved when creating a new marketing strategy that will generate sales. These sales will come from brand recognition as well as social media marketing. All departments will assist in formulating and executing a strategy that will take Deep roots Distillery in a whole new direction.
DRD does not have a full-time staff, this process will be handled through Mr. Beamish and his children. The focus will be the brand and its company’s motto also emphasizing on the business core values. They will generate a strategic plan that will peak the interest of all social media, creating a sense of new and exciting things to happen. They will create digital ads as well as promote sales and offer coupons.
Mr. Beamish will handle the finance of the business, he will oversee all online sales, accounts payables and receivables. Between all parties of the business they will insure that all regulation is meet. They will hire a Law Firm that will handle all legal aspects of the business.
