My Day at a Soccer Tourment
11th March 201510.00pmDear Diary,The dream that I had always contemplated had finally taken a face of reality. I was in Barcelona, Spain and in my hands was two tickets to the world’s most awaited soccer match that I will witness live in only a matter of minutes. I had tacked along a friend with me-a girl- who was also a soccer fanatic. We made our way into the stadium with the rest of the crowd. Finding the best spot possible in the stadium, we had made ourselves comfortable and waited for the event of the day to begin. While we were waiting, I looked around myself. The stadium was huge with uncountable numbers of seats and every one of it was full.  The crowd was growing wild and impatient and not able to hold in their excitement. Faces were painted with the colors that corresponded with the teams, flags were being waved, and people were singing the national loudly which sounded as if bees buzzing. People from all works of life were present there; from babies as old as three years old to adults who were almost in their fifties.  Loud music jarred from hidden speakers as everyone danced to the beat.

All of a sudden the crowd fell silent and then shouts erupted around the stadium. Cameras flashed, shouting intensified and the roar of the spectators was deafening like the clap of thunder.  Both the teams made their appearance on the field, with pride and confidence of winning the match. Twenty –two players walked onto the field but the cheers and support of the Madrid fans were louder than those of the of the Bacelona fans. It was like all hell had broken loose. The excitement had reached its highest peak when famous five entered the field ; Messi, Suarez, Christiano Ronaldo, Neymar Jr and Zeef Prince Boatang. My friend and I were part of the cheering mania. I was being teased by her as to how team Madrid would end up losing the game to Bacelona. Drowning out her words of negativity, I concentrated on the beginning of the game. The score line was nil all till the seventieth minute before Barcelona scored a goal with Neymar heading the ball with an assist from Suarez. Madrid was losing the game and my best friend was teasing me. Then towards the eightieth minute Madrid was awarded with a free kick. Ronaldo lines up the ball and he scored!
