How are you doing? Im doing very well. I just recently attended a ROPES course, for RLS 122 class, at CSU Sacramento. At first, I wasnt really looking forward to attending the course because it was on a Sunday morning but as the day progressed my attitude did a 180. We started the day, by doing some group activities that helped people become comfortable and have a good time. Then we broke up into smaller groups of about 9 or 10. In these smaller groups, we played games to learn each the names of our team members. I really enjoyed this because it gave me a chance to meet some new people and learn their names. I think by doing the team building activities it made the climbing activities funnier and helped people make new friends. I have to admit, Jas that I wasnt too happy about attending this Ropes course. Before attending the ropes course I did a Leisure Motivation Assessment, this test helped me set up my goals and expectations towards the course. Some of my expectations got confirmed, however, most of them were totally different than what I expected. Before the course the motivation assessment showed that building friendships and assisting others were not motivations that I thought were not important or meaningful during the ROPES course but after completing post-ROPES motivation assessment I realized that these motivations were highly important to my positive experience. I think getting
