Holding the gun manufacturers’ responsible for his death, she hires optimistic lawyer Wendell Rohr to help her win the case. A good man of principle, Wendell takes charge. On the defense team, another man will take charge: Rankin Fitch, a powerful and ruthless jury consultant riding high on his frequent successes. But in the middle of it all is the jury, which both Wendell and Rankin are determined to sway. But what theyre about to discover, is that one man and one woman stand in their way. Nicholas Easter is one of the jurors and hes the one collaborating with Marlee, his girlfriend, on the final outcome of the case. She tries to play both the lawyer defending the widow, Wendall Rohr, and Fitch by telling them to pay her ten million dollars to “buy their verdict”. Fitch tries to stay one step ahead of her, but Nick and Marlee are always two steps ahead.
My reaction to this movie is somewhat of a shock. I mean I love how Marlee and Nick take control of their situation in a case like this. Their manipulation skills are just so entertaining to see. The way they just command the two lawyers with their proposal is beyond me. It is also shocking to me because I could see this happening in our society. It’s a shame to have our society come down to this though. It’s sad that our society is completely commanded by money and all it has to offer. The truth these days means virtually nothing. You could kill anyone and get away with it if you have enough money to offer. I simply do not like the way the movie portrays this concept. I do not feel its right to leave the truth in the hands of money. I believe that the side that posses the most truth should be chosen because it true not because this side offered more money than the other. It is morally wrong. Not to mention to the fact it is a gateway to utter legal disaster. If this
s a message about the power and authority of money that is as good and as strong as a message on the internet, then it would resonate with me that some people feel the internet is a dark place and that money has a dark side. But why do we still want to get the truth? There is no question this is something that needs to be addressed. We need to pay attention to our money problem. If everything is okay when an art director has two thousand and two thousand dollars, what is the point in paying one, two thousand or two thousand? How is it for people to give such high and such high sums of money to people? That is a huge problem. In the end we have to change the way we deal with a problem. We need to change our thinking in ways that make it more transparent. I’m no better at my job than someone else, but it does take my job to do a few things to keep it consistent. This is not a new project to me. In the last decade or so I have built a company that I believe has a strong following and that I trust every one of their clients and it can take time for them to get through the process and get off the ground. I’ve been trying all right, but I think this Kickstarter is a very important step towards achieving that goal. This was not just an idea for a crowd funded movie. I started to realize that these are very young films. The concept behind the film isn’t anything new. We’ve all tried to make films. We’ve all tried to raise money for people that need those movies and get back upon our feet. Our hope for the next generation is to continue working with the big box office. It is time to start being more honest with ourselves about what we want from the movie. There is an entire industry that refuses to give up and has decided at the last moment to give up on trying to find a way to make films that appeal to them. I see that as a sign that something is happening and I see that as some kind of positive change because of people wanting to go back to thinking on their feet and their lives. We need to have some control over the way we approach a problem. That’s the way to go, but maybe we can just figure it out, it’s not our destiny to tell the truth. The fact that money has a dark side is something we should all take seriously and think about. Let me know your thoughts on this article.
