The directors of the ‘eat well’ chain would like to obtain a general profile of the restaurants, so to carry out this assessment, a questionnaire was distributed to 100 randomly selected ‘eat well’ restaurants. Based on these questionnaires they will present some results using tables and graphs. Some managers failed to answer all the questions so they maybe will notice some changes in their results. Since they collected all the questionnaires they split them into categories, categorical variables and numerical variables. They collected all the questionnaires and based on them, they worked with excel so it can help them to find the results that they needed. First of all, they collect all the results about states of the countries, the locations of the countries and the size of the restaurants. Below are the results of the questionnaires about countries (UK, Germany, Russia) and about the size of the restaurants (Small,Medium,Large) as they show (Figure 1).CountrySize of restaurantSmallMediumLargeTotalUK17171448Germany128828Russia10482298392930(Figure 1)

Βased on the above table, they produced appropriate charts to graphically display the distribution of the size of the restaurants in each country and then in all three countries. First, managers answered that the UK’s restaurants were 17 Small, Medium and 14 Large as shown in the following chart (Figure 2).[pic 6](Figure 2)Also, they answered that the Russia’s restaurants sizes were 10 Small,4 Medium and 8 Large as shown in the following chart (Figure 3).[pic 7](Figure 3)The answers about Germany’s restaurants sizes were 12 Small,8 Medium and 8 Large as shown in the following the chart (Figure 4).[pic 8](Figure 4)In the following chart (Figure 5) are all the countries (UK, Russia, Germany) and the size of their restaurants(Small, Medium, Large).[pic 9](Figure 5)Second, they selected the numerical variables and they used Descriptive Statistics such as median, mean, mode, standard deviation, max, min, range and variance. The results for all of them are following at the table (Figure 6).RestaurantDistanceAdvertisingEmployeesType AType BMEDIAN50,51,5134119378708179293MEAN50,55,74251848,1419,91919422254,5178053,1MODE0111312200STANDARD DIVIATION29,0114934,649762408,5847,470591143753,848860,04MAX3451562160891141331955MIN10,1106814972375553RANGE99344,91551552741418256402VARIANCE841,66671200,606580127655,809732,07E+102,39E+09(Figure 6)They did the same, thus they calculate all descriptive statistics without empty spaces. As, they mentioned above, some managers failed to answer all the questions, so there were some empties from some questions. They didn’t count the outliers because they didn’t exist. The results didn’t affect from the empty spaces. If they had compiled the empty spaces or not the results would be the same.
