America is our country and English is our language, I believe that if foreigners want to move to our land then they should be the ones to learn our language. For example, our country is becoming extremely populated with Hispanics and now because of that kids have to take Spanish classes in school. Kids in school should be learning about history and math and things of that nature, not try to learn another language. Although, its not bad learning another language so youll be able to communicate with different types of people. I think that a law should be passed that anyone moving into the United Sates be permitted to be able to speak English. I also think that our drivers licenses should be printed in English along with our ballots. Its not that I am a racist, its just that I am a firm believer that if you plan on moving somewhere with a new language and culture, I think that you should give them the respect and learn their language. Also, I dont think that its fair for minorities such as Hispanics to get a minority scholarship to some colleges. For some reason, I dont find that fair at all, its hard enough for Americans to get scholarship, and minorities get one because they are a minority.
For the most part, I love for new people to come to our country, it makes me feel like we have visitors and we are showing our country off, but as for the language situation, I still stick behind my opinion and say that this is our country, so they should learn our language.
