Executive Summary
TeachingPeer.com is a new internet-based business, which will offer teachers, especially new teachers support in a non-judgmental, safe environment. Teachingpeer.com will provide Peer-to-Peer coaching designed to assist teacher with daily communication, feedback, and consulting as they navigate through common challenges to the teaching profession. Peer-coaching will be conducted from retired and experienced teachers and training and development specialist. A unique feature of the site offers teachers the opportunity to privately and confidentially submit lesson plans, classroom videos, and other artifacts for peer review and feedback.

The website in my mind would include a blog page, discussion forum, exemplar lesson plans and student activities teachers can browse and download. The appeal would be to help teacher improve student learning, close achievement gaps, and to address trouble spots that many teachers are reluctant to ask for help on due to the fear of a negative formal evaluation. The product is the submission to the network of support and related teacher resources for lesson planning, reaching at risk youth, improving classroom management, adjusting to the new Common Core Standards, and more!

2.0 Situation Analysis
2.1 Market Summary
Teachingpeer.com will be entering a market of which there is not currently a close competitor. Offering peer-based professional development, support, and assistance new and existing teacher in a manner that is constructive, safe, and non-judgmental is a unique quality unlike the closest competition. Currently, school systems offer New Teacher Support Programs consisting of monthly meetings. These required programs for teacher within the first three years of teaching are linked to New Teacher Evaluation Criteria which results in teachers reluctance to targeted support in which such programs were intended to provide.
