As such while I feel that it was important that this piece was narrated (or if its text did that, then it’s worth discussing as an explanation of that) I think it’s good to get to know about him and also I feel that they are able to help to provide an appreciation of his past. I feel like the content of the description of what happened is really a good part of giving an overview. In this way I think that it’s something good to learn about the things that King experienced and to give a glimpse of how things have actually changed in order to better understand what he went through in such a way with so many of the black characters, but with only one of their own.

Secondly, in his autobiography a person, an individual who has gone through much hardship, has to deal not only with the physical and mental struggle that followed but with the physical and mental struggles that result from how these experiences have been handled and in this way their experiences change. This helps me to understand people in terms both of how they respond to adversity and with how they see the world in other ways.
