Why Do People from Dignity and Low Context Cultures Find Cheating on Exams a Moral Issue?
Why do people from dignity and low context cultures find cheating on exams a MORAL issue?
This is an interesting question and I believe that we should first talk about what is Moral exactly which is “concerned with the principles of right and wrong behavior. That each person believes in” . So Moral is about what people believe in. and cheating “to behave in a dishonest way in order to get what you want” is a wrong act that should be avoided by all.

The person of dignity is less prone to corruption since he follows his internal standards and is less swayed by what other people say and no one have cheating as good thing because you are doing dishonest thing to get what does he what knowing he did something bad will trouble him even if no one else knows about it. The motivating emotion in dignity culture is that of a guilty conscience. This is why it’s also known as guilt culture they will feel bad about it to the end of their life and that is the one thing that people from dignity culture hates the most. Furthermore they think of them self as independent people and cheating is an act of dependency.

Most of the Low context culture value religion in their society more than in the high context culture society. And most religion say that religion is wrong thus they avoid it. Also I believe that our relationship with others affect us in Low context cultures their relationship is task oriented and they don’t care about each other as much as high context culture furthermore they prefer to work individually and sharing his work means more competition in their mind (not all) and they are super competitive people who don’t want other help.
