The Brain Case
Today Im going to discuss the human brain. Human brain has three majors parts, which include forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. I will also discuss in the paper the five divisions of the brain, which include myelencephalon, metencephalon, mesencephalon, deincephalon, and telencephalon. I will example “of how” these areas of the brain works together as one team.

The first indications of the developing brain are three swellings that occur at the anterior end of this tube. These three swellings eventually develop into the adult forebrain, midbrain, and hindbrain. Before birth, the initial three swellings in the neural tube become five (Pinel, J.P., 2009). This occurs because the forebrain swelling grows into two different swellings, and so does the hindbrain swelling. From anterior to posterior, the five swellings that compose the developing brain at birth are the telencephalon, the diencephalon, the mesencephalon (or midbrain), the metencephalon, and the myelencephalon (encephalon means “within the head”). These swellings ultimately develop into the five divisions of the adult brain (Pinel, J.P., 2009).

To order to understand the five divisions of the brain is to divide the brain is to divide the brain into three categories showing the following:
The forebrain: telencephalon, and deincephalon
The midbrain: mesencephalon
The hindbrain: myelencephalon, and metencephalon
The first division I will discuss is the telencephalon. Telencephalon is the largest of the division, and is location at the anterior portion of the human brain. Telencephalon location at the anterior portion of the, brain, and rostral to the midbrain. The telencephalon functions helps with ” our” intelligence, personality, touch, and smell.
