I saw the best minds of my generation finding their time.
They found their time where they were, and their time was theirs. And they took their time and the spent it on dreams and thoughts. Dreams and thoughts theirs it was not, so they purchased it.

People playing music though they not musicians, artists drawing without even a lesson, entertainers who entertain in a new environment. I saw them do this, and I was impressed. It entertained me, and as I saw it entertained others as well. Thousands of others. Millions of others. Their views increased, and so did they continue.

But I saw the best minds of my generation creating a world.
Using their new found talents to create a world of conflict, competition, drama. Criticizing others of non-existent musical theories. Claiming their prescription to the drugs of software and tools. How their art was untrained, so was their attitude. So much so that all remnants of art were stripped away, leaving this world. This empty, hollow world. A tube.

I saw the best minds of my generation forget.
Through hours of hours, perfecting and practicing these new “arts”, they forgot what it was to truly study the arts. They forgot about music lessons. They forgot about art classes. They forgot about those who came before them. Who gave them the music, who gave them the paintings, who gave them the words and the ideas. They forgot, and they totally missed it.

I saw the best minds of my generation, and I was one of them.
